Here's hoping Cliff is reading this and understands how desperate the fans are for a really good release!

Another good film would be MGM's "ThunderRoad".

He hasn't been on here in a while. But I agree with all of you, in that Roller Coaster is a terrific film that would mesh well with the Scream or Shout Factory Lines. I would pick up a bluray in a heartbeat!!

I know many titles have been said not currently in the slate, but does that mean that they will always be a no-go or is that soley for the 2013 block of releases that have been sublicenced by MGM/ Universal?
I know Cliff has said no to a variety of releases, but I am wondering if there is enough demand perhaps they could be possible down the road say next year or if there are future dealings with MGM etc.

Here are some that I feel would be great candidates for either Shout/Scream down the road.

The Caller- Great Empire Pictures released badly in the MOD program with a washed out VHS print. NEEDS a widescreen upgrade.
Enemy Territory - This rare Empire picture is very great and was only on VHS for a short time. Needs a widescreen upgrade.

Without Warning- Highly requested and has an existing widescreen master showing on MGM HD.

Radioactive Dreams- great sci-fi movie. Has a widescreen print, was issued widescreen in Germany on dvd.

Vicious Lips- Has Widescreen print showing on Netflix.

Down Twisted,
Dangerously Close,
Deceit- Three great films that were only released on rare VHS. These scope movies deserve to be seen in their OAR'S.
Shout remastered Albert Pyun's Captain America. The other movies I just listed are even better and would look great in their scope glory!

While some of those would require work as they were only on VHS. I think they would be worth it. I'd be happy if they were barebones with no extras. All I wish is that they were available to own in widescreen.

I understand that catalog titles are a tough sell since they never make as much as new releases and as a niche label, there needs to be strong potential profit to consider release. Hopefully somewhere down the line, these meet your criteria.

Thanks

Mark

One of my favorite companies. Is currently releaseing a lot of Power Rangers Seasons, nice horror sets (I'm really upset that no American Ninja 1 & 2 will be worked on love action movies even if some are cheesy lol it's still action to me)

Does ANYone think nice copies (Blu-Ray) of American Ninja Series will ever be released to the states or region free?

Cliff said the he was working on possibly getting "the Phantom of the Paradise".

He originally said that he didn't get it when he made the FOX deal for "Terror Train".
But he did comment that he went back and was confident that they could obtain it the second time around.

That's enough proof that he has indeed been going back to the companies he's made deals with...

Current rumors are that Twilight Time is getting Candyman So have fun with that one. After the whole Christine thing, I'm sure a lot of people will want this one as well.

I haven't seen The Howling since I was a kid, and I think perhaps then I didn't "get it." Is it worth taking a look into when it is released in June?

No idea if this is possible, but I'd love Scream Factory to include the Scream Greats Vol. 1 doco as a bonus feature on the Day of the Dead disc.

Looking at some past posts I saw that Cliff confimed this as the artwork they will be using for the Blu-Ray reversible cover:

Sonic,

Yes it is region one and the video quality is the best I've seen these films look.

It is available only on Amazon.com.. I am not sure if I can post a link or not,
so just type in American Ninja 2 Amazon and you will see one come up that says 2 dvd set Amazon.com exclusive for 14.96. I have it and was more than happy to replace my full frame dvd set of those two movies.
Check out some of the other exclusives, they just released River of Death as well.

The first two Ninja films were apparently released in Germany. They're region B locked, though.

I remember reading this a while back on fb as well, Cliff said something along the lines of "We plan on using the classic art. The one with Jamie Lee up against the door, with the hand..."

I remember because, oddly, I'd never seen that version of the art before and looked it up.
