Or you could buy it from 88 Films direct. They have it listed under their slipcase section so it's still available. You could probably email them just to double check

https://88-films.myshopify.com/collections/slipcases

EDIT: 88 Films also have Swamp Thing with slipcase, which is the longer international cut of the film with nudity.

I definitely need to also grab their Swamp Thing for the international cut sometime.

Does the International Cut just add tiddies or are there more differences?

I ordered Amityville Horror Trilogy and Garbage Pail Kids from Best Buy last Wednesday and they showed up yesterday. GPK even had the slipcover, which was a surprise. They are both sold out at BB now, but it shows you GPK with slipcovers are still out there in the wild even years after release.

I think it's just the nude scene with AB. Not positive on that though so, don't quote me on that.

I checked mine as well, which was actually a preorder back in the day and it's crystal clear...

Pretty much yes. There's the AB scene and then a brief scene near the end at a party. The scene near the end seems so out of place.

I can live without Road Games or Big Trouble In Little China since I already own BDs of these two from foreign countries and Shout will be using the same masters but I seriously can't wait for Silver Bullet and Let's Scare Jessica To Death. Be nice if we got a couple more Paramount announcements as well.

Same here...I will not procrastinate too long anymore. The only title that I wanted from the OOP list was "Blacula" Double feature, and I was lucky enough to get it.

I really hope this isn't some digital f*ckery, because I can't deal with my emotions being played with like this. lol
The same is true for me, regarding Barnes & Noble/MovieMars. But in my case it’s for The Sure Thing (another of the recently OOP titles.) Good luck to us all.

The only titles that I may regret missing out on are Scarecrows, Garbage Pail Kids, and The Rage. Up until just last month I had 0 interest in Carrie 2, but after watching the Scream Factory disc of the original I saw the trailer for Carrie 2 and had a sudden desire to check it out. Not so much to rush out and buy it during all these other Halloween sales mind you, but it was suddenly on my radar. I may one day look for the 88 Films edition but it's not a huge priority right now.

Garbage Pail Kids and Scarecrows are a bit of a different story. Scarecrows has been on my "to buy" list for years now but it just never moved beyond that. Part of that was due to the generally medicore comments I had seen up until recently, but also because I never saw a steal of a price point on it to push me into impulsively buying it. The $14.99 - $17.99 price was more than fair but not enough to make me impulsively snag it and so without the positive discussion about it I just sort of let it linger. Garbage Pail kids on the other hand I had been waiting for a $17.99 price on and it just never got there. It was a title I was interested in but just couldn't bring myself to pay more than that price on.

I'm not tore up about missing on any of these, but it is unfortunate. I remain hopeful that I will eventually one day stumble across a fair priced used copy.

Thanks, I hope you get your copy.

I ordered The Sure Thing too, on the 10th, from a WM re-seller (Newtownvideo). I have no idea how reliable they might be, but a tracking number finally appeared late last night and is showing movement, so I'm crossing my fingers it works out.

The Rage: Carrie 2 is currently on Prime Video if you want to check it out. Scarecrows I also watched first when it was on Prime Video & liked it enough to buy it.

Placed an order for Sleepaway Camp 2 and 3 at Barnes & Noble, and started to sweat a little when they sent Teenage Wasteland separately.

Resigned myself for the eventual cancellation of Unhappy Campers, but to my relief and surprise got a shipping notice this morning.

Now, as for the chances of either of them having slipcovers....

The first post is missing some budget double feature releases of big titles like Misery, Carrie and The Fog.

I ordered the AMITYVILLE COLLECTION from a third party retailer on Amazon for only $15. To my surprise it arrived direct from Shout Factory. Do they work directly with certain sellers? This one was Route 66 LLC.

Those aren't mentioned or found anywhere on Shout Factory's site which is why they were initially left off the list I believe. As far as I'm aware they may have been Wal-mart exclusives?

I'll work on getting them added to their own section as they are an interesting footnote, but I won't be incorporating them into the master list as they are inferior products when compared to their regular counterparts and currently aren't for sale or listed on the Scream Factory page.
