Yeah same here and in my email it says that it can ship separately from multiple warehouses.

But it sure does feel like it's just one person doing all the work.

My Scream Factory bluray of Quatermass 2 came today via Amazon in a 4K UHD case. LOL. It is a standard bluray though as I don't have a 4K player and the movie played perfectly fine.

I just got my my SPooktacular order today that I placed on the 15th. Everything is great but the Exorcist II didn't come with a slip and looks like it was resealed and the artwork was damaged and I hear a loose piece inside . Needless to say I will be returning this for a full refund.

For those interested I received:

Sleepwalkers - with slip
Urban Legend - with slip
Silent Hill - with slip
SNDN 2 - with slip
Screamers
Exorcist II - without slip badly damaged

Did you get a notification email that your order shipped or did it just show up today?

Hoping I get Silent Hill with the slip. Maybe they’ll send you a replacement copy for Exorcist II?

I placed an order on the 19th and it's still in the Order Taken / Processing phase. When I checked it yesterday, I realized I had it shipping to an old address where I lived two years ago. I emailed Shout yesterday with my order number and updated address - has anyone ever reached out to them with a similar issue? I assume they don't message back? Just trying to ease my mind that I'll receive my goods...

Shout is known for having orders backup like this. I'm always hesitant to order directly from them. I had a bad experience ordering directly Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. Not only was that release delayed three times, but when it finally got released, I didn't receive my copy until 2 weeks after the street date because there was some delay in printing the posters (which I didn't even really want). It was extremely annoying because everyone who ordered from Amazon got theirs early, while mine took an extra 2 weeks. I wish you could opt out of getting the poster on pre-orders.

3 reasons:

They receive quite a few orders during sales (when prices make it worthwhile).
During sales like this, stuff goes out of stock and they have to wait for the warehouse to receive their next shipment.
They have a relatively small group of people shipping stuff out.

Man, I am starting to hate Amazon. I ordered a handful of the recent OOP titles a couple of weeks ago, when all but the Vincent Price Collection II were in stock. Now this is back in stock, and in the meantime the rest of them have sold out. Of course Amazon does not seem to have put any aside for me, even though I ordered them when they were still available.

At least deepdiscount came through for me and were able to source all the animal horror double-features.

The money on these particular films will eventually dwindle. Universal can still go the route of 4k releases if they really wanted to but outside of that there are only so many times they can re-sell the same discs. Eventually when those sales slow to a crawl licensing to Scream Factory seems like a smart plan (particularly if they continue to do what they've done in having their own release out at the same time as the Scream Factory edition.)

While my interest lies primarily in getting Collector's Editions of Parts 2 & 3, I would have no problem buying a box set despite the fact that I already own both the single disc MGM and Scream Factory release of Part 1, the original 1-6 box set, and the single disc edition of Cult of Chucky, provided that said box set would include all the Collectors edition content we've been asking for, for parts 2-5.
I've bought these films on vhs, dvd, and blu-ray. Some of them more than once. I'd buy a box set of collectors editions if it came out.

I'm one of the few that enjoyed the remake as well. I've been clamoring for the deleted scenes since the 1998.

Sometimes I wish they wouldn't announce titles so soon...seems like it will be forever until they give details on My Bloody Valentine. it's the only title I want of what's up-coming.

Really excited for the new wave of announcements as the only one we know for sure is Pet Semetary II. (I believe) Hoping for some other good stuff, and also hoping we get another Warner deal somewhere in there.

Other than My Bloody Valentine as the poster above mentioned (and you have to think they also have Freaked, though who knows what's going on with Terminator).

Might be that they reveal all of February's releases (with art for PSII and MBV) on Halloween, or they might use that day to reveal one or two big Paramount titles coming later (like April Fool's Day, surely a March release), and save the rest of February's titles for the following week (you have to think there will be at least one Hammer there, though I'm not expecting another Universal Collection until March/April).

A major Paramount titles I'm hoping they have is the Dead Zone. If they don't have that, I can see it going to Criterion. Would also like to see A Simple Plan. Besides Freaked, I also hope there are more Fox titles. Still in a state of disbelief that Death Sentence has never gotten a release yet.

I'm hoping that if they are doing Freaked we get all the extras from the stacked DVD release, plus more. Would love to see a fresh scan as well, but then again I never picked up the initial blu release to really judge its quality. The DVD is great though, I love how they included the rehearsal version of the entire film!

Speaking of which, I gotta dust this gem off, it's been too long since I've watched it!

Glad I did not order from this sale...going by the shipping delays that people are experiencing. Is there any chance that Amazon have a good Shout sale in the near future?
