Bought The Dark Half. I know a friend of mine would never forgive me if I didn't hurry up and get it while I still can.

Are these going OOP because they're poor sellers? Shout could just be letting the licenses expire because they feel like they've done everything that can be done with the titles. I find it hard to believe that films like Squirm, Jeepers Creepers and Dolls sold poorly. Maybe sales have slowed since the rollout but that's different.

Just jumped on Dolls; was worried since the last set of announcements that this one would crop up next. Had hoped it would hang on so I could get it cheaper in the future, but ah well...it was time to finally pull the trigger.

Best Buy officially canceled my order of Blacula and Vampire’s Kiss/High Spirits today. I’m glad Blacula got canceled because I found it at Diabolik and already received it anyway so I would’ve just returned it, but super sad about Vampire’s Kiss. Guess the refund came in time so I can get some of new upcoming OOP titles in the meantime

Edit: Ugh. Even though it said “Getting ready” instead of “Reserving” like the other two titles and was slated to come November 19th, New Year’s Evil has been canceled as well That one and Vampire’s Kiss were ones I was really looking for but didn’t want to pay inflated prices for. Sigh.

Are these the first Collector's Editions to go out of print?
Thankfully I have most of these including Slipcover versions of Squirm and Dolls (still 2 of my favorite Scream Factory releases).

Just bought from Amazon:

Lady in White
The Curse/Curse II
The Nest

Each was saying only a few remained..

No, if I'm remembering correctly, Lifeforce was the first CE that went OOP, though a standard edition and steel was released later. Sleepaway Camp 2 and 3 went OOP a couple of weeks ago.

Ordered Monkey Shines which I’ve wanted for a while. Would like Jeepers Creepers 1&2 but will have to track them down with slips.

I used to think I wanted the Jeepers Creepers discs (I saw the original in theaters when I was young and it left a major impression), but I've rewatched them in recent years and did not care for them. The original has a great opening 1/4, but I couldn't really get into it. I ordered Scarecrows on Amazon, and will probably bite the bullet on The Lady in White and the Carrie/Carrie 2 disc, which is still up on Amazon—I've gotta wait for a week or so though until I get paid again. I was surprised to see that Ghost Town isn't going OOP alongside all the other MGM titles—I figured the rights to that would be expiring too, but I guess not?

Surprised SF is letting Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2, Pimpkinhead 2 & Lord of Illusions go OOP. I already had most of what I wanted but put an order in for The Curse/The Curse II on Amazon. Always wanted to check those out.

And yet again everything moving like hot cakes. Good thing I have most of what I want. Pumpkinhead 2, Lord of Illusions, Dolls are really the only must haves from that list imo.

They did say they're going OOP next year, so it is possible that they could do another limited print run of some of the best sellers, maybe?

I was tempted to grab High Spirits (1988), but because it was a double feature with Vampire's Kiss (1988) I never bothered! I'm hoping with the Blu going out of print that SF might attempt licensing a single disc release and try to get Neil Jordan's Director's Cut of the film as well.....

If they thought it wouldn't sell as a single release back then, there's no way they'll release it as single now.
