Got my ship notice from DD for Disturbing Behavior- where it ended up being $10 after the current coupon discount.

Paired it with the Noir Archive Vol 3 to hit the free ship minimum, and both titles together came to less than the cost of the Noir set alone at Amazon.

Had been kicking myself for not grabbing DB at Amazon months ago when it was hovering at an affordable $12.99 for the longest time. Happily, doing nothing then worked out for the best.

Wonder if this is the same phenomenon with Scream's more recent Halloween II/III steelbooks with their "new" 4K scans...do they present better than the original BD releases?

I just watched the steelbook 4k release of HALLOWEEN II............and once again I was a little disappointed. I now have 3 versions of this film, this one and the Universal release and the original Scream release.

This new scan has a clear picture in many scenes but is also grainier than I like in many others. It seems like this movie just can't have a release that wows me. I don't think a 4k release is going to rectify this situation... the movie just seems to have numerous issues with every version that comes out...

It was a pretty popular movie when it played theaters and got lots of good reviews from the critics at the time.

I was away for about a month, so trying to catch up on what's gone on around here. Any highlights? I noticed the next listing of titles going OOP and unfortunately looks like I missed out on Pumpkinhead 2 and Dolls. My fault for not buying them all these years but didn't want to spend that much on blind buys. Should probably have at least gotten Pumpkinhead 2 because I enjoyed the first one.

Looks like I grabbed Dolls just in time.

Watched it for the first time in a while last night (first on HD), and it's really a loving presentation.

I've always liked the film too...wish it was a tad longer, but it's a well-done "Gothic fairy tale", with good acting, nice atmosphere, and welcome stop-motion effects. I rank it behind Re-Animator but above From Beyond when it comes to Gordon's 80's trifecta.

Guess I could order from the US amazon site. It will end up costing me more than $17 though.

I was able to order most of the OOP titles I wanted from Amazon.ca before the prices jumped (Dead of Winter, The Nest, Pumpkinhead II, Ghost Town)--the bulk of them should arrive today and by Friday! This is when I'm glad I have Prime!

Dolls, Ghoulies, and a few other OOP titles are available in the Charles Band Empire Box, if any of those are still available. They are the same discs but have alternate artwork. I sold off most of my SF singles when I got the Empire Box.

The special features on DOLLS are worth checking out if you are into that sort of thing.

There’s also a Japanese blu ray of Dolls that has exclusive extras. Not sure if it’s OOP though, it came out before the SF release.

I grabbed the Eureka edition of Monkey Shines, removed the DVD and stuck the Shout Factory disc in its place for the perfect combo pack. May do the same with The Dark Half. I love Eureka's collector's editions. Original theatrical art on the slipboxes and commissioned art on the main sleeves - the way it should be.

My order of Disturbing Behavior came in okay, from when BB had it in-stock again.

However, the WM re-seller that I bought The Sure Thing from delivered it to Princeton, IL. (I'm in the Los Angeles, CA area). They refunded me pretty easily, but of course that doesn't get me the movie.

Good luck to everyone else trying to get movies from the OOP lists.

How is their packaging?
Ordered 2 steelbooks from Shout last month and both came dented.
Surprised the damage wasn’t worst since they came in a thin bubble mailer.
One SB has a dent on the top corner. It’s not horrible, but I am pretty bummed.
It was my first time buying from them.
