It's region free.

I placed an order for a copy as well. It says it’s expected November 19th so who knows. More surprisingly, they had a few copies of Evilspeak available. I thought that was long out of print? My copy should be here by tomorrow.

Thanks again for the heads up, Dr. West; I'll look into ordering it...

Any info regarding the transfer quality?

It's a big upgrade from the DVD.

I got Evilspeak and I, Madman from Target. They are both still available with the buy 2 get 1 deal.

When did you order yours? I placed my order on November 1, and it's saying it will arrive on the 22 still.

Is it perfect? No.

Is it a giant leap over the DVD? Yes, big time.

Appreciate it; I'll probably wait to see if there's ever a proper Region 1 release.

Placed the order October 26. Got an email Wednesday that it was going to be delayed, which I was expecting, but then got the shipping notification the very next day.

I can legit see it now! All films on their own disc with each VHS artwork, UNRATED cut of Goes to Hell, maybe unrated cuts of rest of the films, new extras, booklet. 🤤🤤🤤 just take my money!!!

My own personal opinion, but a F13 set with previously unrated cuts seems like just as much as a pipe dream as the ANoES set everyone wanted a few years back. It's too valuable of a property/franchise, and on top of that, it's buried in rights and lawsuit issues. Even still, aside from not having unrated cuts of certain films, the tin set is very definitive. Like others have said, I'd rather SF focus on previously unreleased to Blu gems like Tales From the Darkside, etc.

I gave up and finally scored the German mediabook of the Hitcher. Still, I wouldn't complain if SF released it.

I wonder if those who are clamoring for another box set are new fans who missed out on the tin set (or any of the subsequent collections released after it). Because anyone who is a F13 fan would've been well aware of that set and grabbed it day 1. That wasn't the kind of release that was "under the radar" or even limited

I highly doubt Scream will ever release a F13 collection. Maybe a JGTH CE and Jason X CE releases, with JGTH including the unrated cut though is possible.

And yes, I was (still am?) one who hoped for an Elm Street set reminiscent of the Halloween set. I'm flawed, what else do you want from me?

I love ANoES even more than F13, but at least all the films from both franchises are currently on Blu-ray. At this stage in the game, I'll take 'em any way I can get 'em...

Hey, I've been looking into getting some more Scream Factory releases when they go on sale, but I was wondering, how strong are their commentaries usually? Like, are they strong enough to enhance the film on their own generally, or do they just act as a fun sidebar? I know it depends on commentator and such, but it does seem they've got a small stable of regulars, plus companies tend to keep quality of their in-house stuff consistent. I'm mostly interested in if the quality of their commentaries is enough to justify blind buys or getting otherwise meh movies; I enjoy commentaries where I learn about actors or directors or artists Id never hear about otherwise
