That film got under my skin...figuratively but somewhat literally if you know what I mean....

Well said. I wasn't even the one to bring up the Friday set this go round. I was just piggybacking on what others were discussing.

The scene involving a cup of coffee in The Nest will definitely make your skin crawl. Really fun movie

It's one of those films, like with the final sequence of Creepshow, that put me off bug stories; I mean, I just can't sit through them anymore.

As the Alex DeLarge character in A Clockwork Orange would say, "Real Horror Show..."

I'm sure it'll get announced this month, or next month, or the month after that.

You win the thread.

No disrespect intended, I've joked with you a few times about it, I get it, as you said we are all fans

No idea what they’re doing with it. Maybe they’ll release 4 and 5 in 4K and have this footage as the “ultimate” extra.
Thanks. But it seems like it's just an alternate opening. Maybe it's a couple of minutes maybe it's more but when you said "all that footage" I got excited for a moment thinking it was a bunch of stuff

What other Horror films from the Paramount Vault does everyone want to see announced?

Friday The 13th (An Ultimate Box Set that includes JGH, JX & FvsJ it should coincide with a A Nightmare on Elm St. Ultimate Box Set)
The Dead Zone (If SF doesn't get this, I can only assume it's coming from Criterion)
Prophecy (I believe Parts 2 & 3 were through a different studio)
The Ring Trilogy Box Set
The Ruins (I've heard an alternate cut of film exits)
Sleepy Hollow (Could be SF first Tim Burton release)
Stephen King's Graveyard Shift
Tales From The Darkside: The Movie
The Tenant (I'm assuming that Criterion will probably get this eventually)
Vampire In Brooklyn (Wes Craven has not had a SF release in awhile)
What Lies Beneath

Some of these I'm hoping to see released in the year to come......

Nice extras on Dracula even a 4K remastered of the unbastardnized version, Silver Bullet, The Fly, Big Trouble in Little China, Jekyll and Sister Hyde, Road Games and Prophecy even To Devil a Daughter and Abominable Snow Man.

This is a deep cut, but given that Scream Factory now has access to Paramount's catalogue, I'd love to see them do a Blu-ray release of 1993's The Temp with Timothy Hutton and Lara Flynn Boyle. It's a great, campy thriller.

It might be more appropriate for the Shout Select line but I'd love to see The Golden Child. If not them, then I hope Paramount does something with it themselves. I mean, it was a box office hit and one of the Top Ten movies of the year when it came out. The fact that even the most recent DVD release is still non-Anamorphic is just pathetic. It deserves a remaster and Blu-ray. Definitely one of my most wanted '80s titles.

Tales from the Darkside, Dead Zone and The Relic and The Keep would all be swell. I wouldn't want to own Vampire in Brooklyn, one of Craven's worst.
