You're a good person keeping this thread up to date. I'm always checking that first post to make sure I didn't miss anything. It was handy when titles started going OOP as well. Thanks!

I'm certainly on record as not being the biggest Shout/Scream fan, but TripleHBK maintains an invaluable first post here and his various updates and takes throughout the thread are always worth checking out. I wish all the dedicated studio threads on this site shared his intelligence, devotion and resourcefulness.

Thank zbinks for the vast majority of the structure and information on that first post. Last year I merely took over the work he started as he wasn't able to spend as much time on the forum any longer and didn't want to fall too far behind with keeping things updated. Without his foresight the first post would likely look vastly different than it does now.

Sorry, there is no such thing as modesty on a message board. Believe me, I’ve looked!

Well, kudos to both of you then, but I still stand by my comments. It’s definitely a good, fun thread and your efforts help make it so. Now where’s that money you promised me?

My Carrie/The Rage disc shipped out! Now all I need is BLOOD AND LACE and LADY IN WHITE and I’ll have all the OOP titles I wanted but slept on for too damn long.

As much as I hated to pay $22.99, I ordered Garbage Pail Kidd from Best Buy. I waited for around $15, but now that it’s OOP, I just had to grab it now before it’s out of stock everywhere.

Thanks! I know it is. I’ve had my eye on it for a minute but have over spent a tad already while also trying to hold off on any more purchases until the big VS Black Friday sale. Amazon even has Blood and Lace listed as coming back in stock in a couple of weeks. I’d be wary if my Carrie double hadn’t ended up shipping. Despite my hesitance, I’ll probably end up hitting “buy now” after a couple glasses of wine this weekend.

I just haven't been able to bring myself to pay over $20 for that one. If it sticks around into january I may pull the trigger on it at that price, but for now I'm playing the odds. If I miss out, I miss out.

I’m definitely something of a Shout completist but..... I wouldn’t pay $5 for that one!

It was part of the Target B2G1 sale around that price. After reading the Mondo Digital review, wish I went for it.

Considering most of the series is owned by Lionsgate and that the first one was released by Arrow, I don't think Shout's gonna release those films.

All of them but parts 2 and 7 are (were?) available for purchase in the US on Blu Ray. Arrow video has released the most current version of the original film. Anchor Bay and Image released editions as well. Arrows and the OOP Anchor Bay edition are very similiar. The Image release is lousy.

Part 2 is available in the UK in a Region B locked edition.

Part 3-6 is available in the US via Lionsgate on a multifeature disc. Part III also has it's own disc release over sea's in a Region B locked edition.

Part 7 (Revelation) has never had a blu ray release.

The Remake and Runaway both have their own US discs.

The series will not be a part of the Scream Factory lineup due to the licenses being split between different distributors and more so, because Lionsgate thus far does not license out films.

Is the Image release that bad? I thought it was looked the same as the Anchor Bay release.

The difference in quality on Children of the Corn wasn't as dramatic as it was for Hellraiser, but the Image release was still a step down from the Anchor Bay disc. When Arrow's edition was released I remember doing a lot of comparisons between the Anchor Bay edition and Arrow's and deciding that they were for most aspects, more similiar than different. I consider those two releases more or less equivalent. The Image release however was noted as being slightly worse here on site in the review and in the comments I remember reading somewhere and so it was safe to say that even though the differences may not be dramatic, there was a step down in overall quality with the image release.

All of that said, if somone (shout or otherwise) could assemble a complete box set with all films in their own cases/artwork and discs, I'd likely pre-order day one.
