Anthony Hickox' s Prince Valliant was never given an DVD relaese by FOX, perhaps as a regular SHOUT! Factory release.

No other details (meaning configurations, extras, etc.) to report and keep in mind, that all are subject to change.

The Fog - Summer
The Incredible Melting Man - Summer
Hospital Massacre - Late Summer
Day of the Dead - Fall
Scanners II & III - Fall
Night of the Comet - Late Fall
The Horror Show - Late Fall
The Vagrant - Late Fall
Schizoid - Late Fall
The Godsend - Late Fall
Anyone else notice Hospital Massacre is all alone on the release schedule, not to mention under the title Hospital Massacre rather than X-Ray?

I'm wondering if they changed the x-ray title to the much better known title HOSPITAL MASSACRE? It appears so.

And the reason it's alone, my guess is that the box set(s) will be arriving around the same time. That fits the same generally timeframe Cliff gave for the release of the boxsets.

I would say the box sets are 1) Vincent Price set and 2) Amityville trilogy. These were the two that I could come up with based on what cliff said about having both a "box set" franchise and a bunch of Price films. That's the only two possibilities that he hasn't said "no" to yet. Could be wrong though.

Also, here's my guess at what months the releases will be:

• JULY:
- The Fog
- The Incredible Melting Man

• AUG.:
- Hospital Massacre
- Box Set 1

• SEPT.:
- Day of the Dead
- Scanners 2 / Scanners 3

• OCT. and LATER :
- Night of the Comet
- Box Set 2
- The Horror Show (aka: House 3)
- The Godsend
- Schizo
- The Vagrant

We need more announcement. We don't even have, necessarily,
The full year... Yet.

I'd love an Amityville box set. I must say I actually like the send film a lot. Some people are really hard on it but I don't think it's that bad.I'd even like the Psycho films in a box set. I doubt Universal would let Scream have the original though.

Id be more inclined to get a Vincent Price set depending on whats on it..
Theater of Blood would be great in a set or a blu ray edition of the Corman Poe films with Vincent Price

Theater's been floating around the MGM set, Tales of Terror is similarly in ether, and Last Man on Earth was PD. (Not sure about "Twice Told Tales", as that technically WASN'T Roger Corman, despite all its fervent efforts to look like one.)
As for the others, that would depend on who actually got the Midnite Matinee Amer.-Int'l catalog after MGM. I still claim Theater was the "unofficial" third Dr. Phibes movie (with Diana Rigg in the creepy-babe role), and wouldn't mind seeing the trilogy complete.

(And as for an Amityville Trilogy, think the three "real" films are all MGM, but....IIRC, all the requests for Amityville 3 started by asking for a particuar version.
You know why we want it, Shout, and you know HOW we want it. Take a lesson from Universal.)

I know TGG has Theater of Blood but no one has told me if its anamorphic or otherwise, plus TGG could wind up doing HD releases as well..

TGG's business plan doesn't feel very ambitious to me. Letterboxed transfers (Miracle Mile) on double-feature DVDs in the age of high definition is a little too retro for me.

TGG does not do all transfers as 4x3 letterbox. It seems to be the rarity and not the norm. TGG also does not do any of their own mastering or remastering. They use whatever masters that MGM has to offer, so in the case of a film being non-anamorphic widescreen that is due in part to MGM not having their own 16:9 master. I believe, but I could be mistaken, that shout/scream has the ability to create a new master if needed.
What we need is for a lot of the companies to see that older catalog titles are selling that that they need to keep remastering the titles for higher quality releases. Many films sit with no 16:9 or no widescreen masters as they were either shown only on VHS or have never had a home video release.
Somehow Warner has the funds and the ability to remaster their entire catalog so that it can all be released. It's a shame that other companies can't afford to do that to their extent.

On another note, I can't wait to see what some of the other annoucements will be. While there is some great stuff, I hope that is not all there is for 2013.

There's a film I haven't seen in a long time, saw it twice in the theatre back in 1973, I would love for this to get released.
