We need a new Fox deal. Not Scream related but I've been wanting to watch Grandma's Boy again. Such a funny movie.

I'd be very careful with that, the Palomar titles tend to have a lot of bootlegs floating around ebay. Make sure that the seller has a unique picture and guarantees that it's an actual region 1 disc. (And make sure it's the right one; not sure about Stepford, but Sleuth and Heartbreak both have different releases with different transfers.)

I wonder if there are any Fox titles left from Scream to release?

Also, could it be possible that Scream can now release Perfume: Story of a Murderer? I believe this is a Paramount title, and personally one of my favorite films of all time.

To avoid further frustration I stopped trying to explain. So he just thinks I went to a camp in NJ for a summer at some point in my life and maybe a kid died there.

Yes, he is really old.

I'm not sure if you're wondering aloud if Scream actually have some more Fox titles to reveal (in which case apologies), or if you're asking if there are potential Fox titles they can release. There are, but it will of course depend on the availability of HD masters:

Dr Renault's Secret
The Unknown Terror
Back from the Dead
Hand of Death

Witchcraft (HD master available, but can they resolve the issues which nixed the Kino release?)
Devils of Darkness
The Nanny
(this probably has a HD master)
The Anniversary
Hex
(if it's still with Fox)
The Norliss Tapes (TV)
The House on Skull Mountain
Spectre
(TV)
Vampire (1979) (TV)
The Vindicator
Frankenstein Unbound
The Haunted
(TV)
Ghost in the Machine (HD master available)
Strange Days (HD master available)
Quicksilver Highway

I'd say all of the below would have a ready HD master:

Club Dread
Incident at Loch Ness
Turistas
Joshua
Death Sentence

There's also more double-dips, but not much is really jumping out here:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992)
The X-Files: Fight the Future (can't see them bothering with the sequel)
From Hell
Joy Ride
28 Days Later
Wrong Turn
(I think just the first would interest them)
The Hills Have Eyes (2006) (can't see them bothering with the sequel)
28 Weeks Later

Sorry, I meant if Scream still has the license to titles that they haven't released yet from their recent Fox deal. Death Sentence would really be up there for me.

Yeah sorry, I edited my post when I realized you may have meant that. I think the last Fox title was Big Trouble in Little China, so that's 4 months without one (going up to April). I'm also wondering if they have any more Sony titles. The last was released in October (The Blob), so that's six months now (up to April). Also worth bearing in mind in both cases they wouldn't have any real work to do on the masters, so the only real hold-up would be extras (unless they were waiting on Sony to finish a new restoration, but that seems unlikely).

You're right, it's been awhile since they have released a Sony via the Scream label, but I'm hoping they have Panic Room. They are still releasing Sony titles via the Shout Select line with the Missing coming in April, so hoping they release more titles that way as well.

Agreed. There’s random titles like Club Dread or A Good Year (so I can complete my Ridley Scott collection) that I would love to own on blu.

Club Dread absolutely does and it looks ready to go for a Blu Ray release if someone decides to release it. I actually consider this one of the lesser Broken Lizard films but would scoop it up in a heartbeat if given the opportunity.

Yep and doesn't seem like stuff that Disney is going to add to + at any point in time. Our only hope is that the license some of these Fox titles out to others.

I think it's their best, to each their own. At any rate, that would be a day 1 purchase for me. Hope someone does pick it up.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but does anyone know what happened to the upcoming "How to Make a Monster" and "Day the World Ended" releases?
I recall they were "delayed", but it seems the pages have disappeared on Amazon and elsewhere, and no sign of them at all on Shout's site.

I wonder if they may be canceled like "Isle of the Dead"?

Apparently the dates changed to May at some point, so I'd expect them to be announced in 2-3 weeks if that proves to the case.

May 26. They still show up in my Amazon wish list. Price on both and THE SPIDER is 19.99 now so Scream is selling these at cheaper price.

I consider it their most ambitious and "complete" film if that makes sense but from a comedic perspective it actually fell a bit flatter to me than many of their other offerings. As I mentioned before I'd still pick it up in a heartbeat but from a replay-ability stand point its one that I'd reach for less frequently than some of the other films they've done.

If a UK release is announced, then I'll (hopefully) sell the Shout release, unless there end up being exclusive extras on Shout's release. After seeing the list of extras etc. for next month's Collector's Edition Blu-ray of My Bloody Valentine, have decided to get it. Not bothered in getting the poster (if it was still available. I'm not sure if Shout ship internationally), but I would like to get it with the slipcover.
