While we are on the subject of the film Body Parts, here’s how they could remake the film: The plot is essentially the same but the protagonist gets a huge medical bill from his arm surgery at the hospital. While the auto and health insurance companies are denying and stalling in paying the claims, his arm begins to act up and start attacking people including his wife and son. So the rest of the movie is the same as the original but in the end the protagonist in addition to defeating Charlie Fletcher and Dr. Webb ends up able to pay the 8 million dollar medical bill (Healthcare in America is very expensive) with the settlement proceeds from his lawsuit against the hospital that gave him the bad arm.

Honestly, Scream Factory's prices generally make me shy away from them. Even during their sales it doesn't get low enough for me to bite the bullet on a lot of their stuff (just based on the sort of films I'm typically interested in). With the current 3-for-2 sales Amazon and Target are running, however, I've been trying to pick up a bunch at the lower price point that's more in line with what they're worth to me, so I'll be happily digging into some B-tier Hammer and things of that sort soon enough.

I just preordered Body Parts for $22.99 from Amazon. Bug was also $22.99. So glad the price games are over because $27 is a LOT of money for some of these movies

Just a heads up to those interested, I ordered 10 to Midnight as part of Target's "Buy 2 get 1 sale" and it arrived with a slip.

One of Scream's better slips actually, and easily one of their best transfers.

I’m pretty sure the $22.99 price point is and has been normal for non-“Collector’s Editions.” It’s the CEs that are often locked in at $27.99+

Yeah I have a problem with their $28 price point for the CEs with posters - not because of the price but because that is their ONLY option. Shout doesn't consider that there are people who don't want the swag and will take their business elsewhere. I wanted to buy the new Slumber Party Massacre steelbook but the only option is a $60 version with a doll of the villain, who, incidentally, looks nothing like the actual villain lol.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm hoping those better-informed than me can answer it. Is there a reason that I Walked With a Zombie by Jacques Tourneur hasn't to the best of my knowledge ever received a really proper blu-ray release? Given that Scream Factory has been releasing some other Lewton stuff (The Leopard Man, The Body Snatcher, The Curse of the Cat People), I was hoping perhaps this might be in the works as well. It's easily my favorite work by either Tourneur or Lewton. I'd also love to see The Seventh Victim and Bedlam.

I've heard rumors that Criterion has got that one. I can't confirm that, though.
