Wait a minute! Tales From the Darkside and Ocra in the same month!!!! YESS!!!! Amazing news. Now, hoping Orca has the original poster art. Otherwise this is fantastic news. Now, just give me the Dead Zone.

Same Here, I'm in for all 4 as well. This is the kind of slate that I've been hoping for, for some time and could have helped balance all the Hammer heavy months. All Shout needs to do is announce the one or two Hammer films people are expecting and it'd be a pretty well rounded month. On a side note... can someone point me to the pre-order for Thirteen Ghosts on Amazon? It's the only one I can't find.

Edit: Spoke too soon... Universal Horror volume 5!

Hope so too. This Orca cover is hideous. I want the original one posted in your link.

Wow, a surprise announcement, Universal Horror Volume 5, in addition to today's other Scream announcements. I'm sure now that there will be a Volume 6. So you experts, start guessing which titles might be included.

But Jaws? And the sequels of all things? Why is Universal so protective of three films that range from decent to god-awful? And if it's a question of public consciousness, like the Child's Play films which are ever present nowadays, I say to that... HUH? When was the last time Universal even leveraged the Jaws property for anything? The last sequel is from 1987. Oh sure, there's been repeated rumours over the years about remaking the original film but still...

Go figure Universal.

We got a few extras on the Jaws 2 DVD like 20 years ago and they haven't done anything for the sequels since. Hell, even the blu-rays that came out in 2016 (10 years into the format!!!) still used dated scans from that era.

Completely baffling as to why they wouldn't license the Jaws sequels. Universal clearly doesn't care about them, so why not license them out to a boutique label that WILL do a good job? Makes no sense.

All of this ^

I get Universal considering Child's Play an active series, even thought they should give SF at least CP 2 & 3.
But the fact that they won't give the Jaws sequels to SF is mind boggling! Are we supposed to believe that Universal thinks that this is an active film series? It's been 33 years since the last one!!!
I've heard that Steven Spielberg will not allow a remake of the original (totally understandable) which tell me that Universal has been pumping money into a fifth film for the last 30 some odd years....I'm now wondering how much of that money could have been spent on better films!

I feel like if there is/was ever a film that didn't need a remake this is it. This is a franchise that lends itself to any number of sequels, why Universal has waited so long to put out another film in the franchise is beyond me. They don't need to label it Jaws 5, Just call it Jaws: Unbound or any other number of subtitles and Reboot the thing that way. It's not like we need any of the characters or locations from the first film in order to make a new one. People connected with the shark, not anything else. We don't need an origin story, we don't need a re-telling of the original material, just come up with something new and move on. "The Meg" is/was really the idea that Universal should have come up with forever ago in order to continue the series.

So, it's pretty safe to say that Shout has another deal with Warner? Hopefully Alone in the Dark and Deadly Friend hit us by Halloween!

It's possible they got to trade back the Lewton titles they planned on doing but dropped for other titles. It's been known to happen with licensing deals when a title or two don't move forward to an actual release (Twilight Time with Sony, Kino with Paramount, among others).

Yeah also here to say that the Tales From the Darkside cover is sick! One of Scream’s better ones IMO.

Yes that would be awesome to have a blu-ray CE with both cuts and extras even behind the scenes footage of how they did the make up and all.

If Deadly Friend isn't announced at SDCC or before, then it won't be with this deal......

With the new WB deal I'm thinking I'm going to get my dream Scream title, The Lost Boys. WB has done Nothing with this, and we should see either a SF bluray release or a 4K this year. I can feel it in my blood!
