I enjoy Manhattan. Not a fan of X or the remake.

Jason Goes to Hell has a special place in my heart. It came out when I was really young and my friends and I were desperate to watch it. Eventually one of my friends saw it and told us Freddy's glove comes out in the end and we all thought it complete bs and we called him a liar. When I finally saw the film on PPV I loved despite Jason only being in his true form for a short amount of the film. It also turns out my friends wasn't lying. It's not a great film, but it holds a special place, and when I finally the film uncut on DVD, I couldn't believe how much violence was cut out.

Also, I wonder when Scream might announce this? It's pretty much leaked at this point, and with Comic Con likely to be cancelled, I wonder if we will hear about this soon?

I love Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X! I even like the 2009 one, give me all the Jason!

I agree, and it's the reason I didn't upgrade my From Crystal Lake to Manhattan box set.

Ideally, I'd LOVE to see the original franchise sanctioned by Paramount, up to Jason Takes Manhattan, in a Blu-ray box set...but that won't happen.

Plus, me personally, I already have Freddy vs Jason on DVD and the remake on standalone Blu-ray.

Jason X is all in good stupid fun.

Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday is the only one that really falls flat for me, but I watch it anyway whenever I revisit the series.
Oh, and I hate the visual look of Freddy vs. Jason, but it's an otherwise fun popcorn movie.

I don't know where all this love for X comes from; it was the dumbest thing I've ever seen, honestly....especially if you're a serious Friday fan. I mean, having a Crystal Lake space research team (isn't that what they were called? Been so long since I saw that turd...)? Having Mr. Voorhees fuse with a strange advanced metal in the likeness of Terminator 3? Really?

Even if sdcc had to cancel... they can always still announce their line up of 14 titles.. but since it's in july.. I think they'd be fine to attend..

I don't think they will have the choice to attend or not. With schools probably not going back in session for the remainder of the school year in California, and the virus probably going to take awhile to go away, I highly doubt there is going to be an event that crams over 20,000 people in a space. I would love to be wrong as it's something I look forward to every year, but the odds are of it not being cancelled/postponed are low.

I won't call it 100% confirmed until Scream announces it themselves (or at least once listings for it start showing up on Amazon and other retailers). Anyone that's waited for any films that Jim Wynorski took upon himself to announce knows what I'm talking about.

That said, I'd be very surprised if Scream didn't include the uncut version, since that's one of the things not included in the last box set that fans were upset about...
