Has anyone had issues like this recently? I'm using my Credit Card which is my primary payment method when paypal isn't an option as I like to minimize where I use my debit card online. Any suggestions/feedback? At this point I'm just not going to purchase from Bullmoose if this continues as the titles aren't something I need at this moment, however the price they are offering is the best compared to what I can find elsewhere and so if this is a minor blip I'd like to grab these films if possible. Thoughts?
I've never experienced that issue, but I wonder if there are certain banks which are more prone to this issue.

I've never encountered that issue with Bull Moose, and just this month I ordered two titles together. Strange.

I can't say I've ever experienced this issue anywhere else. I've had this particular credit card for nearly 20 years from a National Bank and use it regularly on all manner of purchases online and this has been the first time it's encountered any sort of trouble. I even deleted and re-added it to the website thinking that would help but to no avail. The discussion prompted me to try again now however and it did just go through. Not sure what changed as everything was saved onsite as far as payment info is concerned but the transaction did process now on my 4th attempt so I guess that's good. Still a very strange experience to say the least.

I had that issue recently when I tried to order the Blu-Ray of V: The Final Battle. Like with you, it wouldn't take my card at all. I ended up going elsewhere for that one.

I decided to try ordering The Tenant and Orca this time, and it worked. Go figure...

And the suggestion was to "Try opening the titles in a new tab rather than clicking into each one. " Doesn't seem to be working. Unless I'm doing it wrong. When I get to a title I right click hoping for an "open this link/something in another tab". Maybe I'm just brain-dead from quarantine. Any help is appreciated.

You have to right click on where it says 'more details' - under the buy now/pre-order button - that will bring up the option to open it in a new tab.

Reach out to BM as they may have more insight. It could have also been an intermittent issue with the payment processor. Can't say they'll have the answer, but they've been really good at answering when I've reached out to them.

Bullmoose is great, sad to see yet another "I guess I'll take my business elsewhere" after a few issues, as if the company is in the thread trembling at the thought. In my experience Ronin and Bullmoose have both been great in terms of delivery times etc. I have had to use a different credit card with Ronin for some reason as they dont take my main one. NOT A BIG DEAL, that's for sure

Ronin accepts paypal so the issue of payment wouldn't be a problem if my card didn't work. When online shopping paypal is my preferred payment method 95% of the time due to the added security it provides. I've been a part of a number store financial record breaches in the past and so these days I try to only use my credit card when I absolutely have to. I keep only a single Credit card these days and use debit the rest of the time but online I almost never use my debit card.

I did end up getting the purchase to go through last night as I mentioned above though. It took 4 tries but it went through. Had the savings not been pretty substantial I likely would have given up. I ended up saving right around $14 on my two films compared to what it would have cost to purchase them elsewhere.

Well, I'm in the same point. Ordered some soon to be OOP titles, two weeks ago and it's been silent. When I check the status, it simply says order placed or something along those lines. Sent them a second e-mail. I placed an order about a month ago and they were pretty responsive.

They have a banner at the top of the page letting people know that shipping is delayed and they’ve gotten way more orders than anticipated. When ordering from them direct (even before corona) two to three weeks was often the norm as they don’t list titles as OOS when they know more are on the way. Of the 28 titles I’ve ordered since 3/31 only three have yet to ship.

Which three? I’m waiting for two myself (Blood From the Mummy’s Tomb and Return of Count Yorga).

As said above, even before COVID-19, during sales it can take 2-3 weeks to ship, because they get backed up with orders and because of waiting for replenishment.

The last non-sale order I placed with them (when Deathstalker was rereleased) shipped the next day after ordering.

The three I’m still waiting on are SATURN 3, BRAIN DEAD, and THE DUNGEONMASTER/ELIMINATORS.

I will say my orders were spread out over a week. One of the first titles I picked up was AFTER MIDNIGHT and it was the last one shipped out a couple days ago.

And, I might add it’s been fun getting small deliveries here and there with a few titles at a time.

Wouldn't surprise me to see a lot of companies, Shout included, do some sort of online stream announcing products they had planned to announce at SDCC in order to still try & build anticipation for the rest of the year.

A week-long "Summer of Fear" promotion featuring a movie streamed on ShoutFactoryTV each night and announcing a few new films during the livestreams would be really great.

That would be cool, but I doubt they will do that. I expect they will just announce each months titles as usual.

Question. Does Shout/Scream Factory have access to the entire IFC films catalog/library? I notice they seem to exclusively release a lot of their titles. I'm hoping one day they'll release The Den on blu-ray and noticed it's an IFC title so it had me wondering, due to the collaboration frequency, if they just have free reign with it?

Hey, Shout, since SDCC is out this year, you can start announcing the heavy hitters now. No need to wait until July. Call it the Novel Coronavirus Stay-At-Home We're All In This Together Event announcement

They should announce them on the ShockWavePodcast!
