That list of special features for The Hills Run Red is insane. Their criteria for what they deem a “Collector’s Edition” and what they don’t is impossible to determine... Behind the Mask and Urban Legend both received the status but this and similarly stacked releases like The Guardian don’t. Odd.

Thanks. Took note of this and made another order tonight with it included. It initially "sold out" on Shout right before I was going to make an order, so I ordered it from a seller on Amazon around ten days ago -- the Amazon order supposedly "acquired shipping label" and a USPS tracking number April 17th, but no updates since (!) ...so my gut tells me it's going to be declared "lost."

Marketability and whether a title had a previous release are going to be the biggest factors. Both Behind The Mask and Urban Legend had previous Blu-Ray releases before SF released them, and you could argue that both are more "well known" compared to The Hills Run Red or The Guardian.

Have to be honest, I am really disappointed there are no deleted scenes for the upcoming The Hills Run Red.

Read about the deleted scenes years ago and thought this would be the release that would enable us to finally see them. Great features announced but no deleted scenes tampers my enthusiasm.

I imagine they'll start on Monday (unless they're all dropped on one day next week). But if a Friday the 13th collection is coming in August (recent events may have put paid to that), next Friday is surely the date to watch out for, given it marks virtually 40 years since the release of the first Friday. If this is the plan, Scream just want to be careful that Amazon don't beat them to the punch again.

I'm looking over my second sale order cart. Are Cellar Dweller and Catacombs good? I like creature features, but the review for the latter on here wasn't exactly encouraging.

CELLAR DWELLER is worth the price on its own. It’s perfect Saturday matinee fodder. CATACOMBS (also known as THE CURSE IV: THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE) is fairly slow but it does drum up some fantastic gothic atmosphere. I enjoy it, but I can clearly say why most would not.

My first order arrived today. It only took two days. I'm guessing Shout must have a distribution center in north or central Florida, which would also explain why they charge me sales tax. Part of my second order was dispatched today, so I guess I should expect it by Monday.

I placed an order directly with Shout (Candyman 2 and Murder by Death) for 2 blu-rays on April 20 and they still haven't shown up.
