Yeah... if anyone needs to be convinced not to get married, they only need to go to these forums to be convinced. While marriage works for some, it turns out to be a bad choice for most. Probably because most people rush it. If I find a decent woman ever, and I've been with her for at least 10 years with no real issues, THEN I might just call her a keeper. Not holding my breath though. Most people are shit and this forum helps prove it nicely. Not that living in a America these days isn't a clear indicator itself.

I LOVE marriage and tell everyone of its virtues all the time. It can be tough but it's worth it, if you know why your in it. I've introduced my wife to hundreds of movies through the years and we've had a great time. She's a little freaked out by the collection though.

No complaints about marriage here either. My wife loves horror movies almost as much as I do & like me she also plays video games. I either know how to pick them or got extremely lucky .

Yeah I've been happily single for about 3 years now. I'm glad I never got married with my last ex, seeing as how ugly it ended. And I'd rather burn my blu ray's than have to give them to an ex, just saying.

This is exactly what I ended up doing. I found a standard frame that was a little larger than the image. I just cut some black construction paper to put behind the Litho to make it look like a boarder. Worked like a charm and less than $15 for two frames and a roll of black construction paper at WalMart.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my replacement disc for Scream Factory's release of The Lost Continent arrived in the mail today. So about a week after I got the email saying it shipped.

Not really sure about all that.
At this point I’m good with just, ya know, official confirmation from SF.
If it happens and they are shooting for an October release, between this and DotD it’s going to be a pretty scary month for bank accounts.

If the Halloween set is anything to make a hypothetical guess on, I would definitely say there will be bonus disc(s), however the film discs themselves will most likely be packed with bonus features specific to that film. Also, depending on the amount of features the individual film has, it may get two discs on its own.

Not for me. I've already ordered and paid for my DoTD set through a friend in the UK. Any forthcoming F13th release probably won't be pre-orderable for some time.

Has there been any hints that a Friday the 13th box set is coming? Or is this all just wishful thinking still? I'd love to get a decked out F13 set like Scream's Halloween set, but until I hear an announcement I'm not getting to excited.

I swear we get one of these posts somewhere on this forum every week. Grab yourself a drink of choice, relax, and read the last few pages on the Friday the 13th boxset topic on this page. Your question will be answered there.

My wife buys all the shoes she wants and I buy all the movies I want. Well, maybe not all, no way am I paying $1000 for Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill...

Take your advice and grab a drink and relax until Extreme Prejudice and all the Italian and Japanese films you want are released! We definitely get one of those posts somewhere on the forum every week

Grab yourself a drink, hopefully one with some alcohol, and relax. At this point I think I see more posts from you, mentioning me, versus posts about something else. You can stalk and harass me all you want, but it seems a bit counter productive.

Oh, and hopefully we get Extreme Prejudice, Cemetery Man, Graveyard of Honor, Yakuza Graveyard, Hunter in the Dark, Prince of the City, the Dead Zone, Friday the 13th set, and a few others. Thanks for reminding me. I think I might be slipping in mentioning those titles.

To Professor Echo's earlier question, on the overall quality of the "Friday the 13th"series: I was an unqualified fan, as a teenager, and I'm a more measured fan, in my 40s. I like most of the movies, in different ways, and for different reasons, and I will likely buy the new box set, but even I have to admit that this series is basically the junk food of horror films.

The best films of the series, as much as I like to watch them, in a "comfort food/junk food" kind of way, are not even close to truly great horror films like "The Exorcist" and "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre." I know that some (maybe many!) F13 fans will strongly disagree with me on that statement, but I just can't call those films truly great films, simply because I happen to really like some of them and enjoy watching them.

On marriage, as many people have been commenting here on it:

I've seen it change the lives of so many of my friends for the better. I've come close to getting married more than a few times. In retrospect, I can see that many of those situations would likely not have worked out well, both because of problems within myself at the time, and problems within the other person.

I still have a hope to be married, one day, if I can find the right person, and if I, myself, am the right person, which really should come first. I do not believe that most people are feces. I have had many brutal life experiences which could have well led me to believe that though, and I have been tempted to believe it at times-- but I don't.
