We have a great Blu-ray collection planned that will be released before Halloween. Keep checking back for the official announce soon. One film in it, in particular, has been requested here several times and has never been on Blu before.

A Vincent Price box with The Abominable Dr. Phibes? I first thought a Carpenter box with Prince of Darkness, but with The Fog presumably coming in June/July that might be too soon. Or maybe a 'sci-fi horrors' themed box with Without Warning.

Well they've confirmed at least it does not contain Universal titles. Which probably just leaves MGM.

Have any Price films really been heavily requested on Facebook? I don't recall.

I'm not on FB, but I figured that would be the most requested Price title outside of the Poe series.

Well it has to be some kind of box set, at least three films I'm guessing.

By stating one of the films has been heavily requested, it's quite possible that we're talking about a franchise with a popular first film and lesser sequels. However, the hint is somewhat confusing since we're not sure if it implies that the other films in the set have already been released on Blu-ray.

Psycho II-IV? I'm not sure that II or III have been heavily requested in favor of one or the other though. There's also the possibility of an Amityville box, though again I don't think there's one specific sequel that has gotten a lot of requests.

Whoops, slipped my mind. Could there be an Empire box?

Maybe, but I would've thought they would have held onto Prison for such a set.

To me some kind of Amityville set seems unlikely given that the first is already out on Blu-ray. Have people been requesting the second and third films that much?

Then again, I haven't really checked Facebook responses that much. Given that these are the same people responsible for getting Ninja III into the SF line it could really be anything.

Actually they only say the particular film has been requested 'several times', which technically could be anything as little as 3 or 4.

I had thought Vincent Price films, Squirm, Frogs..but none are heavily requested. Maybe Squirm...
Fright Night II came to my mind again but I dont think they have it. More of a wish list for more.
Without Warning hasnt had a USA DVD release let alone a Blu Ray release...
I dont know what it could be, maybe Sleepaway Camp (if they decided to do HD masters for them)
Slumber Party Massacre ?
It cant be Amityville Horror since that had a Blu release...
Id love it to be Pumpkinhead...but then it would be paired with # 2 which I thought was Pumpkin-poo

did they say it was a set? i just took the term "collection" to mean wave not an actual collection.
edit: i guess now that i reread i realize they do imply an actual collection. hmmmm

I'm hoping its not Prom Night.

I'm thinking it could be the Slumber Party Massacre collection. Shout Factory already have the DVD set, so it would be hard for Scream to release them onto Blu ray.

Cliff has shot down the Slumber Party Massacre films on BD many, many times.

Maybe it's a Blu-ray version of MGM's Stephen King Collector's Set.

Carrie and Misery have already been released, while The Dark Half and Needful Things have not.

MGM was going to re-release Carrie (1976) on Blu-ray early this year, but they cancelled it when the remake got pushed back to October. Perhaps SF got their hands on it.

Yeah but I thought Cliff said no way to Mary Lou, so that would make it kind of a probably not. Cliff may have listened to the praise for Mary Lou though and decided hey why night.

Exactly, I would be down for that set.
