My wishlist:

Less Hammer
More 80's horror titles
There's not a lot of Hammer stuff left so you should get that part of your wishlist next year. I figure that the majority of the Hammer films they are releasing will be out by the end of the year.

The Brides of Dracula is a definite, possibly Night Creatures/Captain Clegg and if they have them She and The Curse of Frankenstein would be definites.

Shipment notification for Southern Comfort today. That just leaves Ghost Story from that particular order...

Received my copy of Child's Play from Amazon today, replete with excellent-quality slip. From back in the day when SF put little red stickers directly on the slips, as well (was able to peel it off and affix it inside the case). Very happy about that.

Collector’s Editions:

Child’s Play 2
Child’s Play 3
Bride of Chucky
Sadly those are very unlikely; the last time the SF Crew was on the ShockWaves Podcast they mentioned that they once had the rights to Childs Play 2 & 3, but didn't believe there would be enough demand regarding those titles. Now they would be interested in releasing those movies as CE, but the franchise has been rebooted and Universal will not license titles of active franchises to them.

Forgot one:

Stephen King's Nightmares and Dreamscapes on Blu-ray.

I know not all the stories are great but there is enough for me. Battleground with William Hurt being the standout but also The End of the Whole Mess are my favorites.

As mep said, Child's Play 2 and 3 aren't likely to happen anytime soon, since the Chucky franchise is active again.

You know, I've always thought that if SF started doing UHDs, that Halloween II and III would be obvious candidates. Now I'm starting to wonder if those would be off the table now, again, due to Universal not wanting to license out films from active franchises.

Unless Shout decides to do what Criterion did with Sixteen Candles, I'm sure that Terminator is coming.

I've heard that The Thing would likely be a Universal release. That said, it actually looks like the Arrow Blu-Ray set may look better than Universal's UHD, so maybe I'd want Shout to do their own release with Arrow's transfer instead...

And while I'd love a UHD of SNDN, I think the fact that the uncut version (which is what we'd all want) uses SD inserts makes it unlikely.

Was it ever confirmed if the 4K scan for The Terminator's was already graded for HDR or not? If not, I'd probably dial my expectations way back re: UHD, seeing as James Cameron still can't find the time to sign off on 4K masters for The Abyss or True Lies.

We are more likely to see a UHD of the Terminator, than we are of True Lies or The Abyss. The Terminator, is more popular.

oh, but let's put out idle hands and the species sequels, though

scream are so clueless at times that it's aggravating. i remember they also said they resisted putting out psycho 4 following psychos 2 and 3 because cliff didn't care for the film -- as if that's at all relevant when you're trying to promote products to millions of people who AREN'T you.

Yeah I always get kind of annoyed when someone from a label says they wont release something because they are not a fan of it or because they dont care for it.

Say what you want, but if you're only going to release what you like, then what's the point in having a company? Might as well just make stuff for yourself.

The whole point of making a company and putting out product is to release products that fans would like to buy.

Nice list! I'd be inclined to pick up several of those. And I was actually just thinking I'd love a special edition of Jennifer's Body, although seeing as it's a Fox title, I don't think it'll happen any time soon.

The Keep would be great. I did have a suspicion, though, that Paramount maybe, just maybe, would want to keep this one for their "Paramount Presents" line. But maybe not.
