Releasing Sleepy Hollow, in any form, would be the proverbial bottom of the barrel as far as I am concerned. Saying I did not care for that film would be putting things mildly.

Aside from the obvious... (Friday box set, Nightmare box set, Corman properties such as Sorority House Massacre 2) here's a handful of titles that jump to mind that I'd much prefer over them going down the path of Sleepy Hollow.

-Pontypool
-Irreversible
-Feast II & Feast III (Might as well release a trilogy set as the US edition of FEAST was cut)
-Megan is Missing
-Paranormal Activity (Original unreleased Festival cut)
-Necropolis
-Dreamaniac
-Transmutations
-The Company of Wolves

with all due respect, SLEEPY HOLLOW is better than all of those films combined.....

It may well be according to some folks but there are just so many things that drive me nuts about that film that it's honestly hard for me to find many worse films to watch. I'd rather sit down and watch C.H.U.D. II back to back than suffer through Sleepy Hollow again.

Burton's films are a mixed bag for me... they are either home runs or are excruciatingly painful for me to watch. For whatever reason I just don't find much middle ground with his films. I'm sure my distaste for Johnny Depp in a Tim Burton production has a lot to do with it. Burton without Depp... seems to be ok. Burton with Depp... claw my eyeballs out please. (There are exceptions however as Edward Scissor hands doesn't bother me.)

Here's another Hot Take... Christopher Walken has only ever made 1 good movie... The Dead Zone... all the rest of his films/roles are crap.

I remember being excited in the early years by the SDCC announcements - looked forward to the event since January. Sadly, I was only ever genuinely satisfied by the lineup just once. Today I couldn't care less if they even hold the event anymore. I think Shout's glory days are behind them tbh but I thank them for all the great titles they've released. And they ARE numerous!

Roger Corman urged Bondanovich to make this film and, originally, it was to be released by AIP, but Paramount became very interested and bought them out.

In two separate storylines, Karloff plays Orlok (named after Count Orlok in the 1922 film Nosferatu), a retiring horror actor, a reflection of the real life actor's situation. While Tim O'Kelly plays a Vietnam veteran who goes on a shooting spree. It, of course, all comes together at the film's conclusion.

Targets is listed as one of the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. It is an important film that deserves a blu-ray release.
I don’t disagree that it should be seen. I like the film enough to buy it when gets a blu ray release.

Yes, it sure of comes together at the end, but the build up to the shooting spree is far more important interesting. IMO

On a more serious note, I love Sleepy Hollow. It's probably my favorite Burton film, but I can respect that it's not someone else's cup of tea. C.H.U.D. II, though???

I needed to really drive home how much I dislike Sleepy Hollow. I'd really prefer to not watch CHUD II back to back.

I mentioned it before, but I hope Scream releases TURBULENCE at some point. It got a bare bones release in the early days of DVD from HBO Video in an open matte frame.

I'd love to see a few behind-the-scenes featurettes, interviews and especially have the film presented in it's proper aspect ratio 2.35:1.

Burton is responsible for two of my favorite all time movies, Beetlejuice and Pee Wees Big Adventure, I have mixed feelings on most of the rest of his output. I love Batman but aside from that I'm pretty in between with everything else. Each successive movie after was less and less good for me. Also I love Walken and The King of New York is a great movie in my opinion, love the cameo in True Romance , Suicide Kings role, The Deer Hunter and many others. He is a guy that I am always happy to see. Admittedly he has gotten a little more ridiculous over the years and his latter day role choices have been almost as bad as Deniros

I'd definitely buy it (they could also throw in the terrible sequels).

As far as Christopher Walken goes, I really liked him in the Prophecy series, the first three Prophecy movies I should say.

This one HAS to be wrapped up in rights issues... HBO Video titles are a mess trying to get them on BD at this point. (See, the Hitcher/Volunteers.)

There's also a chance that Turbulence being a theatrical production of Rysher Entertainment has little chance of happening, of their 21 titles, only Primal Fear, Escape from LA, Kingpin and Kiss the Girls have been released on BD. And three of those four are from Paramount.

There are 16 other titles they have that haven't seen light of day on BD, including Private Parts, 2 Days in the Valley and The Saint.

I'm a little shocked how much of a debate is going on about Sleepy Hollow, I personally love the film and is a ride or die fan of Tim Burton films.

It does make me wonder if SF is even a fan of Tim Burton? They've never gotten a hold of any of his films (that might not have been their choice!). But from the reveal that SF passed on Child's Play 2&3 years ago, does make me wonder if the person in charge just isn't interested in Tim Burtons body of work....
