Quite an usual year 2020 has been.
SF announcements being delayed can just be added to the mix.

Stumbled into Wal-Mart the 3d and found the new OMEN box for 39.99! Needless to say surprised. Id not heard of it going out of print and Amazon still has it at full price.... what gives? (Shrug)

Amazon had it at that price. Probably sold what they wanted then raised the price back up.
It’s been, at that price, on Amazon, at least twice...if not more. Amazon prices are always jumping around.

Wouldn't be the first time. Who knows why Scream Factory does it to themselves.

Wal-mart has had it priced that way for a few months in store. From time to time it has popped up as in stock online at wal-mart.com at the same price. Anytime it's in stock on wal-mart.com Amazon does a price adjustment to match the price. When Wal-mart's stock runs out, Amazon raises the prices back up again. Wal-mart also has an endcap of Scream Factory titles in store currently... Sleepaway camp for $9.96, The Thing for $12.96, Cobra and Starman for $12.96 etc.

I got Big Trouble in Little China for $14.96 and Firestarter for $12 as well from Walmart. I have also seen some Walmart’s have The Fly collection for $40

Did they mention anything about if they have they are going to have small or bigger line up for October?

Last month I asked them what's up with their releases for the month and they told me announcements would be coming the following week and that it would be a light month.

My Walmart only had Big Trouble and Firestarter. I picked up the latter.

Does Shout Factory still have a licensing deal with Fox or did that end when Disney acquired Fox?

There MAY be more titles from the last deal coming, but I wouldn't expect any further deals involving the Fox catalog.

Given the word of a forthcoming release last year, presumably Freaked is a Fox title they're still working on (I'd have thought the release of Bill and Ted 3 would be a perfect window).

It's so weird that the only Scream Factory disc I've ever seen on the shelf at Wal-Mart (In Canada) was MAC AND ME.

First time buyer from the Shout site, just had a lil' question:

I ordered three discs from them (Army of Darkness, Halo: Legends and Dog Soldiers) and I just recieved AOD in the mail today. Is it normal for them to ship the items individually? Or is this something new with the whole pandemic situation?

Yeah, I was hoping for the traditional Amazon leak today, but it looks like it's not happening today. Maybe tomorrow.

Yes, it's normal. I had two items shipped to me in late May from my May 04, 2020 order, and I'm still waiting on the third item.

The items you did not receive must not be in stock, and it could be months until you receive them.

Who knows if Bill & Ted 3 will come out in August anyhow, I saw Halloween Kills was moved to October 2021, rather than October 2020.
