Speaking of which... I'd poop my pants if Scream Factory was somehow able to wrangle the rights away to this one. It's just the kind of release that thus far we've been missing from any distributor for this Halloween season.

I think I wore out the CD soundtrack for Trick or Treat.

I adore DEADLY FRIEND. Seeing a pristine 35mm print from the Academy Film Archive a number of years back with a hugely appreciative audience was wonderful

According to these release dates, looks like MGM are re-releasing some of the now OOP Shout titles. Although I'm not sure about Mad Max, has the SF release of that been announced as going OOP?

To just add some fuel to the fire in the talk of "lesser" Craven titles. All of his work deserves to be released at some point. He was a innovator to the genre of horror and has an immense influence on the new contemporaries working.
So the likes of Deadly Friend, Red Eye, and Vampire in Brooklyn need a release. I would also argue for a Music from the Heart since that copy now sells for a grossly huge price.
And SF also released the tv movies that Carpenter did so I don't see why they couldn't for the likes of Craven.

I 100% back this post. With that, while Chiller might be one of his worst TV movies, I’d definitely check it out again if it got an HD remaster.

Justin Beahm of Reverend Entertainment (who produce extras for many Scream releases, and from what I can gather, work almost exclusively for Scream in terms of Blu-ray labels) tweeted this yesterday:

I already own all of them, including Deader, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't rebuy a complete collection that fixed the problems on Hellraiser 3, and provided 1080p editions of all the films.

If not a F13th box set, the next best thing would be a NOES box set.

There was already a set that came out. Don't see the point if they don't include some new features or that documentary about the second film.

Arrow still holds the license to the first three, so I doubt that will happen. At this point i'm 99.9% sure it's the Friday set.

The chains comment makes me think it's going to be Friday the 13th for sure. Now, I'm just wondering if we will get the Dead Zone. I truly hope so.

I agree though there has been no evidence to suggest this will be possible. To be honest I'm quite curious to see if Freddy vs Jason is included.

Oh yes I only have the double feature and quad feature editions of the film so thatd be nice. For me the big selling point would be a collectors edition quality release of bloodlines with an (as complete as we can get it) directors cut included as a special feature.

...and it might not come out for some time. I bought the Austrian NSM Blu-ray/DVD/CD Mediabook way back in early 2014, and it still has yet to really see another official release excepting a couple of later NSM reissues.

Lionsgate still hold the rights to the film, and they really only seem to license out films such as this to foreign markets. The best we can probably hope for a US release would be from their Vestron series.

I’m really hoping for a 4K Friday Box Set announcement. Come on Scream, you know you want to release it.
