In for all four but I'm hesitant to double dip for a 4k rescan that isn't on a 4k disc because I assume that will be the logical next step for the triple dip.

Very exciting...but now I still anticipate the official F13 announcement since the amazon listing doesn’t include the specs haha. Though I have a feeling it’ll be the same masters...wonder what “new” extras are coming.

Wasn't there aspect ratio issues specifically with the original? I could see them using the same masters with corrected ARs.

16 discs for 12 movies. Makes me think one may be Crystal Lake Memories.

Since I already own that on Blu, I’d be a little bummed, but at the same time it’s so in depth I can’t imagine getting new interviews unless they surprise us with Kevin Bacon.

I’d love for some workprints though.

I'm wondering if each uncut film and its R-rated counterpart (F13 '80, 2009, JGTH) will be on separate discs then. That's 6 discs right there.

Probably Horrors Hallowed Grounds episodes. Those features always fall short for me. For one, they're too short and they speed through them too quickly. The rest are probably more interviews. I'm too lazy to check my copy of the tin set but it looked like a fairly extensive collection of extras. I haven't even gotten through all of them yet.

Excited about Motel Hell. I always thought this needed a fresh scan. Don't know if there's much they can do about the vaseline effect, though.

If the Halloween set is anything to go off of; each film will have its own disc and there will be one for special features. That leaves us with 3 to speculate.

i tend to be very alone in this, but i find both those featurettes and sean clark himself to be pretty obnoxious.

One disc for each of the theatrical cuts (1980, JGTH and 2009).

Kind of agree. They should do a nice featurette with maybe a different host? I love the idea of revisiting original shooting locations but it needs to be done right.

Hell yes for the F13 set and Terror in the Aisles. As for the steelbook of Pumpkinhead and Motel Hell, I wish I could get excited for those, but I hate the fact that they use the same font on all their steelbooks (which doesn't look very good). The artwork would have to really wow me. I'd rather they just release the new 4K versions on a standard blu ray with a new slip.

I would imagine a separate disc for the theatrical cut of each film that requires it: part 1, JGTH, 2009, plus another bonus disc.

Right? It's the John Carpenter font... which works well when they first started putting out his films in steelbooks. Maybe it's a minor gripe but get it off the rest of the releases.

Crystal Lake Memories was split across two discs (remember, it’s over six and a half hours long), so based on the disc count, I don’t see it being included (or, if it is, maybe it would be split up, with each movie’s segment on the corresponding disc).

Scream Factory usually put the theatrical and unrated cuts on separate discs. So I could see the original film, Jason Goes To Hell and the remake all having two discs. That would account for the remaining three discs.

The best thing about FvJ was Director Ronny Yu, to bring his visual aesthetic to both the NOES and the Friday franchises was fascinating. Having been a huge fan of his HK films like Phantom Lover and one of the best fantasy films ever made with Bride With The White Hair; he just seemed to be the perfect director to bring his night time dream like visual aesthetic to the films. I mean his Bride Of Chucky is the best Childs Play film by a country mile it's just a shame the script for FvJ was crap to begin with.

I know it won't happen but I'm hoping one of those discs is a properly done 3d bluray of part 3. ( I know there are long standing cost issues with redoing the 3d...)
