They announced they’ll be doing something this year, yes. Preorders aren’t confirmed but highly likely. Their CC announcements are always anticipated and get plenty of buzz.

if that means they’re going back to double dip on some of those mgm titles though, the burning really needs a refresh.

You're right. They're doing something for Virtual SDCC, but they're not doing the usual announcements due to COVID-19 and manufacturing issues.
