When I ordered the RAD poster/print from Mondo last week the shipping was under $6. There was a more expensive "expedited" option that I briefly noticed, but if I would have hesitated on that one...it would have been sold out by the time I made the switch.

The Litho and poster you get for ordering the Friday set directly. The cost difference of buying the set from Shout vs buying the set elsewhere equates to $20 per poster.

Shit i accidently charged myself twice just in worries I wouldn't get the posters. Ordered once in the first 30 min and had site errors like everyone else and got my order in through PayPal but the site went all error crazy on me. After an hour of worrying and not receiving a Shout confirmation email only a PayPal one I decided to order again to secure in my order confidently. Now I have 2 paypal charges but 1 Shout order acceptance. I already emailed them but that was a fun couple hours. I hope everyone isn't dealing with any problems either! Atleast I have my set in officially!

they increased the posters to 7000, which has made me rethink the scream.com order i have with them

On one hand, it's nice because I'm sure there were plenty of people who wanted it but simply weren't online when the listing first went up since it dropped out of nowhere. On the other hand, that's kind of a slap in the face to anyone who was dealing with their website for an hour trying to place their order.

I've noticed Scream tends to do this often with their "only X numbers will be available." It sells out almost right away, and then they're like "JK, more are available."

That's not even limited. More people will receive them than not with a purchase.
That extra $40 for "limited" posters doesn't sound so great does it?
Pure greed. They know they can move more units at the higher markup.

I guess the only positive is that it devalues the poster above that was planning on flipping them for profit.

Even worse internationally. The difference from Shout to Amazon Canada was close to C$100.

thats why to me , it almost makes it easier to order from another site that will just ship out the set, and save $60
I just hope shout now doesn't increase the number of the blu ray set as much as they did with the posters

any word if scream factory is going to release a box set of a nightmare on elm street 1 through 7 as well the original box set has pq issues and the 3d on freddy's dead was red and blue and it was missing the deleted scenes of the laserdisc etc. also an uncut version of part 5 and an extended cut of part 6.
