Just came here to say the same. I know they don't promise the early shipping anymore, but my last 3-4 pre-orders through them have been arriving over a week early.

I am a diehard Halloween fan and can talk about it all day, but I absolutely hate Rob Zombie's Halloween 2. Its utter garbage. I can find enjoyment in the worse of the series like Ressurection, but I cannot stand RZ's H2.

RZH2 is my second favourite of the entire Halloween series.

I'll get the F13 set eventually, but if Scream Factory does an Elm Street set and only does a new 2K or 4K transfer for the first one and doesn't bother fixing the problematic color timing issues and black crush blu-ray transfers of 2-6, I'll be extremely pissed and will probably continue holding on to the DVDs.

i think "hate" is a perfectly valid descriptor when referring to either of zombie's entries. it's easy to hate something so vile.

I just watched it a couple of nights ago and it's really good. I've always liked the 2nd movie, and I get a huge kick out of the parties involved saying they didn't know what they were making. But seeing the director in the doc, I almost believe it- he doesn't come across well at all.

I am excited for this but super bummed I can't order right now. So much crap going on in life making it hard. But I will probably break down and put it on my credit card.

As this is a multi-studio release, I suspect that "13,000" number is contractual, not arbitrary, and is likely to require additional negotiations and contracts with Warner Bros. and Paramount before the production run for the set, itself, can be officially increased. I suspect they will seek that increase, but I would not make any assumptions about this release not being limited.
Makes sense.
l did blink, has this info changed?

Throwing out teen doesn't take away from your overreacting to an opinion piece, funny how you then in the next paragraph say that nightmare 2 rules as of it is immutable fact, you bitter old Boomer.

So outside of 4K scans and remasters, is there anything in terms of extras that Nightmare fans have been dying for? For example: Halloween had the Producer’s Cut of 6, Friday has the workprints and 3D version of 3, etc..

ANoES's laserdisc came with close to 30 minutes of deleted scenes that haven't been put on any subsequent release.

Part 5's laserdisc was an uncut version that also hasn't been released elsewhere.

I saw NOES 2 in a packed theater the Friday night it opened, and everybody left entertained. Lots of yelling at the screen and jokes from the audience throughout, which happened during all the F13 sequels too. Nobody was worried about Freddie's legacy being tarnished because there was no legacy then. Last October, I went through the NOES Blu box from start to finish, and Part 2 still held up--works on multiple levels for me now. I actually enjoy them all, but they have diminishing returns after 4, IMO.

It would be nice if they make more sequels for NOES and ignore the films after part 4. I hope they make another NOES film soon. As for boxset, I would like to see remastered video, commentary for each film, each film gets its own case with original artwork and extra interviews and documentaries.
