Agreed, sites will definitely oversell, as seen in the past with the Halloween and the first Well Go Phantasm sets.

It will be interesting to see in October which retailers come through with all their preorders and which ones don't - I personally hope my tribe here at Bluray.com all get their copies though!

OP, ya gots a mistake in post #2.
Thirteen Ghosts should say "- Collector's Edition"
That's how I find the ones I want to buy.

So now they are already planning to bash the F13 set. Lol. It’s no surprise our society has devolved into a hate first/like second society. Why look for the good in something when it’s so much easier to look for fault.

Yeah, I'm such a jerk lol.

Scream has been my favorite BD label since their inception. I've consistently looked forward to seeing what they have coming down the pike for eight years now, and their customer service is second to none, but to pretend there's no reason to be apprehensive about pre-ordering a set of this magnitude before it gets sifted through consumer QC is just foolish.

How gory is Motel Hell or Pumpkinhead? Don't recall watching all of Motel Hell and seen bits and pieces of Pumpkinhead as well.

I would not consider either one to be "gory movies"....

Thanks for the heads up. I swear I had that one labeled correctly at one point but with all the release date changes I must have neglected to include the "Collectors Edition" bit when moving it at some point. I've fixed the issue now however.

I still own the official movie magazine for JGTH and I believe there are photos of cut material in it.

I'm not expecting the unblemished version to be what Scream Factory releases, but it sure would be nice.

What is everybody's favorite F13 movie? I'd go with Part 3 or Jason Lives.

I pre-ordered the set for $140 on amazon which is reasonable since each movie is getting it's own case and artwork in the set.

Part 4, followed closely by part 5.

Final Chapter (IV), definitely. Part 2 is a close second. The first four are the best, though I also really dig Jason Lives.

I can never decide whether Friday the 13th Part 2 or Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter is my favorite.

Part 2 has:

- CT locations
- Two of my favorite women in the series (Marta Kober & Lauren-Marie Taylor)
- Amazing wheelchair kill
- Amy Steel (arguably the best final girl in the series)

The Final Chapter has:

- Joe Zito's direction (arguably the best in the series next to Steve Miner)
- Bizarre morgue scene
- Crispin
- Corey as a little Tom Savini
- Doublemint twins
- The incredible demise of Jason (I remember rewinding Jason's head sliding down the machete blade numerous times on VHS)
- Probably my favorite overall Manfredini score for the series

Luckily, I don't have to choose. I can have it all!

Anyone here hopes this week we get Tales from the Darkside the movie's extras to be announced? Hope there's some nice extras like behind the scenes footage of how they did the effects and all? even interviews with Rae Dawn Chong, James Remar and others?

I gave up hoping.

The German disc is good enough for me.
