Triple or anybody who knows: is there a comprehensive list of all of the SF MGM titles? I've been scouring the thread and the webs and haven't found one as of yet. Seems like it would be handy to know which titles to pick up first since they'll likely soon go...
Sorry if that's been addressed and I missed it... |

3/4 of the movies from my last SF order didn't come with slipcovers. I'm usually indifferent about slipcovers - EXCEPT when it comes to SF! I like having their custom artwork on the slipcover, but reversing the insert to show the original one-sheet! Not sure why most companies never user the original one-sheet for the cover art.

It's a major retailer that has locations in multiple states. Its Nebraska store location in Omaha takes up over a full city block. Their movie selection is almost non-existent these days but they partner with the usual distributors behind the scenes for online orders. I'd be more nervous ordering from one of the smaller shops online than I would NE Furniture Mart.

Amazon used to be great for purchasing Scream Factory titles. I used to pick them up when they were on sale for $10-15. That was a few years ago though. Prices have been ridiculously expensive over the last few years and they hardly ever come up for sale. Starman was recently in sale but that’s a very rare occasion. Prices on eBay are also crazy high too.

I think to date most (if not all) of the MGM titles to go OOP were released prior to 2017. A year or so ago, Scream permanently reduced the prices of a number of pre-2017 titles, which made some of the less high profile MGM titles particularly reasonable. I would hope that they might do the same for certain 2017 and 2018 titles before any go OOP. I would like to get Doctor Blood's Coffin and Daughters of Satan, but don't fancy paying the current prices for them.

My Carrie order from Amazon last week showed up in a slip. Very surprised by that one.

What announcements are you referring to? This months Announcements for November were Relic and Brides of Dracula CE (with Twins as a part of the Shout Select line). The leaks let the cat out of the bag but Shout confirmed these titles a few days ago. Depending on who you spoke with we were expecting either no announcements or a light month and so getting what we got was arguably the best case scenario. (For what it's worth War of the Colossal Beast and How to Make a Monster are also November releases that were delayed from earlier in the fall.)
