To ship these films to Canada is $12.99. I am not spending $40 for a Corman B movie, no matter how much I love them.

all these limited editions of 1000 aren’t surprising. is there any hard data to assume these titles would sell more than that?

i know they’ve said in the past that not every copy they put out sells a ton of copies. i wish i could remember the title, it in one of their shock waves appearances, they mentioned something to the effect that they took a chance on a title and expected it to sell more than 1500 copies.

outside of caged heat being the debut of jonathan demme, was there anything really noteworthy about any of those releases? im speaking of the limited to 1000 copies releases.

Yeah, these ain't selling 10,000 copies, but that doesn't mean that Shout can't adopt the Warner Archive model, and do small pressing and just re-press when they do sell out.

I'd like to see UNHOLY ROLLERS (1972) get a Blu-ray release.

Naturally, I ordered both of these limited editions. These Corman titles are a blast.

Candy Stripe Nurses
Cover Girl Models
Crazy Mama
Firecracker
Fly Me
Georgia Peaches
The Great Texas Dynamite Chase
Grotesque
Lady Frankenstein
The Lady in Red
Night Call Nurses
Private Duty Nurses
Smokey Bites the Dust
TNT Jackson
Too Hot To Handle
The Warrior and the Sorceress
The Young Nurses

With some of these, I'd certainly hope they'd put in them double packs though, especially if it makes sense to pair them together like the Bad Mamas or the nurse films.
Big Bad Mama was released, but it's MOD/BD-R.

So I was looking to hang up the lithograph that came with Forbidden World and it measures in at 28.5 x 16.5. Where am I supposed to find a frame for those dimensions? Anyone else had any luck?

Unless you plan to pay someone to frame it for you, my advice is to buy something like This and then buy some nice Frame matting Material. You can use an x-acto knife and metal straight edge to cut the matting to the appropriate size and you'll end up with something that looks quite professional looking.

Only thing missing from these newer titles is the 'Roger Cormans Cult Classics' marquee banner on the front cover. Always liked the look of that..

Interestingly enough... only one of the 4 announced titles actually belongs to the Corman Classics collection. The other 3 are regarded as Scream Factory Collection titles per Shouts website.

Ah...now that you point that out, Only Caged Heat / Jackson County are part of the 'Corman' collection on Shouts website when clicking on the title itself. Yet, when searching by collection, all new releases appear there.

I understand people being upset at the price for Attack of the Crab Monsters, but, if we don't buy, it could cause SF to rethink these releases. I just preordered this along with Brides of Dracula. I really enjoy both of these movies, so, when I see an announcement like this, I usually jump on them to support more such releases, hopefully, and right now I'm hoping for more classic Corman horror and sci-fi releases !

Without getting custom I feel you. I got both critters, Halloween 2, piranha creepshow and pumpkin head coming with wonky ass sizes

If you know someone who does some woodworking on the side you could have them make a frame for you. It doesn't take much to make a simple, nice looking frame. Getting some glass cut to size probably won't cost you more than $20-$25, depending on what kind of glass you go with.

Alternatively, you could try it yourself. You don't need much space for small projects like this and there's a whole lot you can do with basic hand tools and some sand paper. It's fun, costs a lot less and gives the whole thing a more personal vibe. It might make a good conversation piece, too.

I ordered Attack of the Crab Monsters immediately. I also ordered Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell and Universal Horror Classics Vol. 6 along with it.

Attack of the Crab Monsters is good, but it's barely an hour and just not a title that I'm going to spend $28+ on. They really should have done it as a double-feature release at that price point. So my old DVD double-feature will suffice for me... perhaps I'll buy it if it's still around when a discount or sale goes up.

I ordered Deathsport earlier, and also the last two LE's the other week... so I'm certainly buying the ones I really want.

Local video store is having 20% off sale today. Picked up the following for $15.99 each. Not too shabby!

I recently did that with a massive, one-of-a-kind Missing In Action 2 poster from Ghana. It's an oddly-shaped 44"x59", and after a year or so of having it on my wall bare, I woke up one morning set on framing it. I invested about $65 on materials (including plexiglass, because a sheet of glass that large was nearly $300), and got to work. By the next morning, the paint had dried and it now hangs properly.

I'll add that I know next to nothing about woodworking or home improvement projects, and did everything with a sheet of sandpaper, a brush from Dollar Tree, and a handsaw. If I can do it, anyone with two hands can.
