Seeing it listed in someone's comment previously, reminded me...

Did CREEPSHOW not sell well? I'm rather surprised we haven't gotten ANY other SF releases in that style since (rigid slipcase etc)

Lord knows these are the kind of releases that get me all giddy too. Why I love Arrow so much. I'd love to see Scream Factory give this treatment to The Lost Boys or other bigger fare.

I am not a huge 4K enthusiast (I can't tell much difference), but I would buy a UHD of Creepshow rather rapidly.

I agree. Is Creepshow still shipping with the chipboard slip?

With all the Creepshow talk I'm seriously getting a henkerin' to watch the film again.

I'd buy it but I remain Hopeful that Vinegar Syndrome ended up going back and snagging the sequels after seeing the comments folks made when it was revealed that they had considered the films last year and that a box set of parts 4-7 will be coming next year.

maybe VS will release 4-7 this year. They still haven’t revealed all their titles for the rest of 2020.

"Howling 7" is New Line/Warner, so that won't be included by VS if they were actually working on a set, unless Warner gave it to them just because of how lousy it is.

Gotta say, that sucka has never dropped to a reasonable price. I don’t know what it cost them for rights, but that could be one reason if it didn’t meet sales expectations.

Yeah, definitely planning on watching it again sometime between now and Halloween. Such a great film.

I would love to see Shout/Scream Factory release Guyver: Dark Hero (let's not call it Guyver 2) on blu-ray. I know Arrow released the first Guyver film in the UK, but if they don't have any plans to release the superior sequel, than Scream should jump on the rights and release it in the US.

They could include it but not advertise it in any way. Put a blank label on the disc itself, place it in a paper envelope and jam it in the box randomly. Freebie.

You're definitely bored and trolling just to troll. Creepshow is probably the best anthology film ever made. Very few anthologies come close and NO modern films can touch it IMO. I watched Trick 'r Treat and barely remember anything about it.

I think you are underestimating Trick r Treat, many of my friends have it as their favorite anthology film, I feel they may overrate it a tad but I'd say the movies are close and only separated by personal preference. I enjoy both quite a bit

While I prefer Creepshow, Trick R Treat is easily the best anthology of the last 20 years.

Trick r Treat is delightful, but let’s be honest... there was absolutely no reason to open the credits with comic book panels.

Creepshow was an homage to 50s horror comics.

Trick r Treat was definitely referencing (stealing from?) Creepshow.

Pretty ridiculous to say Trick r Treat buries Creepshow.
