I would be on board for a Dracula 2000 set. And I'll raise you two. The five film, The Eye series would be great. At least the 4 originals. And the five film Wispering Corridors series.

Of coarse if were just talking trilogies, I would love a blu set of the completely underrated and unseen My Super Psycho Sweet Sixteen. Only available MOD dvd atm. And really fun slasher.

What I'm wondering if they'd even offer already released series of films which are still in print in a more affordable boxset. Same exact releases just housed in a slipbox. Or the remastered 4K Steelbooks just re-released in regular Viva cases. Wouldn't mind for Sleepaway Camp and other series they still have distribution rights to. Unless if they lost those rights to the sequels.
But I did find it a bit odd two of the five films in The Omen - Deluxe Collection I bought yesterday have Eco Vortex cases instead of Viva Elite. Fine because I have many Viva Elite cases for usage.

I appreciate it. I have no clue who owns the rights to Witchboard III, but that’s another one I’d love for Scream to grab.

So... just to nitpick on the F13th set... I've never watched Freddy VS. Jason and I was fast forwarding through the forced previews once I put in the disc.

Apparently I just fast forwarded through much of the movie itself because, unlike every other blu-ray I own, it started the movie with no menu...

Is this just a repack of an old release?

Yes. Same disc that's been kicking around for years.

Not all have been shipped from different retailers, majority from Shout though. Still awaiting mine.
Wouldn't mind Career Opportunities on disc. Or from another label. Just more titles never on BD anywhere and fewer re-releases.

Personally, I think Scream would got the Slumber Party Massacre route with that trilogy if they released it. Put Dracula 2000 out by itself and then 2 & 3 in a combo pack. I can't see the trilogy being popular enough to move a box set. But I still remember seeing Dracula 2000 in theaters & would probably pick that up. The sequels I'd have little use for. Dracula 2000 I remember having a little push behind it when it came out & maybe it's enough to get a nostalgia buy from people. The sequels feel more like for the completists out there to have to go with them.

Which means I'd probably end up buying the sequels.

According to Kino someone has Career Opportunities, and it would make sense if it was Shout. We'll see, but I'm pretty sure it's them.

Friday sets are arriving with scratched discs. Sounds like SF has another QC nightmare on their hands.

Yup. Maybe I should check to see which one got the silent re-release with the 6.1 audio.

Would be nice. Hopefully the Select imprint if it is.

Hopefully there'll be none whenever the set I ordered ships and arrives. Fingerprints are no big loss since I have a microfiber cloth.

My set arrived flawless, posters, book, discs, etc.

It's probably worth noting that at least one of the most vocal folks regarding "scratched discs" and "QC Problems" went on and on for months on end in 2013 regarding these exact same issues in the F13 Tin collection as well. Seems rather suspect to me that someone would have the same exact complaints/problems on 2 completely different sets 7 years apart, but here we are.

In that scenario, maybe they'd just license D2000 and skip the straight-to-video sequels, altogether. I'd question whether the sequels, in a combo pack separate from the first film, could move enough units to even make it worth their while to license them.

Well, people are posting pictures of scratched discs and it’s not just one person. And Shout has a history of this with Trick R Treat.

The scratching issue definitely kept me away from TrT, especially after the replacements were also coming with scratches. I still haven't picked it up and have just stuck with the WB disc since who knows what scratched stock is still out there.

Fortunately, the Friday sets are not as scratch consistent since mine did not come with any. Although, they did come with a thumb print and smudges on a few discs but they all wiped away.

I must be the luckiest person on the planet, every time one of these releases supposedly has widespread scratching, all of my initial run discs are pristine. Like often happens on the internet, I can't help but feel the minority of people who unfortunately receive damaged / defective items are the most vocal, and some perceive it as a widespread problem. Every consumer product on the planet has production defects, typically in the 1-3% range for industries I've worked in, no clue for Blu-rays. No manufacturing process is ever going to be flawless.

Two of my Friday discs had pretty big scratches. Part 3 and the 2009 remake. Thankfully they both played fine as I fast forwarded them on speed 1. Didn't check the special features though.
