People are asking insane amounts of $$$ for "The Return of the Living Dead" and it isn't OOP (I checked the main page), and third party sellers are asking at least $149.99. I hope this isn't OOP I would like to upgrade my copy

I have no idea why the cost is currently so high, but I don't think it's OOP. Scream Factory always issues a press release of titles going OOP, and ROTLD hasn't been mentioned.

Shout Factor's website has it listed as "Sold Out" which means that it's likely in between pressings. They've been pretty good about letting us know when a title is going out of print and so I wouldn't worry too much about this one. Re-pressings take 1-3 months and so the prices you are seeing elsewhere are simply attempts to take advantage of misinformed buyers. Give it some time and it'll likely turn back up in the next month or two.

I just got a reply from Shout that the title is sold out, but not out of print and that it will be restocked eventually, but the manufacturer is swamped, and its not a high priority, and they are at the moment working on newer releases, but they said things could change based on pandemic developments

Bubba Ho-tep - no slip.
The Blob - no slip.
Urban Legend - no slip.
Behind the Mask - Slip.
Valentine - Slip.
Slither - Slip.

Stoked to have gotten Behind The Mask & Slither with slips as I didn't expect em, but I did think I'd get one or two slips between Mouth of Madness, Vampires, The Blob & Urban Legend.

Just one more sale order to go.

I literally just bought the Scream Factory release of Return Of The Living Dead in September from Mike at Grindhouse Video Tampa (to upgrade my MGM Blu-ray from years back).

I'm so glad that I did now that it's between pressings (for God knows how long)...

I think these slips are becoming increasingly more sought after, which could be leading to the steeper pricing? Especially if it's the special slip that Scream produced...

*Oh, and one more thing. I don't know what it is, but the older I get the more I love this flick. I thought it was okay as a zombie flick, but no Dawn. Now, I watch it regularly.

Yep, finally received my first order from October 9th as well.

I had slips on the Entity and the Craft CE but not on Night of the Creeps CE.

Also received both Paul Naschy sets!

I made 4 orders during the sale, the first came last but I am content now!

Is this a case of anything is better than nothing? If they couldn't find elements for a remaster that would be one thing but if this is just a lazy throwaway cash grab that would be a shame. My copy is due by Thursday. I got it fairly cheap so it's not a huge deal but I can't deny it's somewhat disappointing.

I got this from Scream and you think they would have sent the replacement disc with it automatically.
