Just in time for Thanksgiving the October sale shipment arrived.

To be honest though, the wait really wasn't an issue since I had the Friday box set to dive into.

No problem. The replacement disc website does have a notice regarding the Friday the 13th set up at the top, but it appears when you fill out the form, you can enter whichever title you're requesting a replacement for. I haven't used it yet since my copy of Lost Continent is still on the way, so I'm not really sure which way is best to go if you purchased from Shout.

I found the Facebook post Scream made for the Lost Continent replacement and it said to just send a email to the one you posted above, so just finished doing that. Hopefully that will do.

You should have just waited. I ordered on 10/10 and got one of my blus from my order last week and just got the 10 remaining blus from the order today.

Your replacement disc request has been approved for 1 set(s) of the following discs: Jason X, Jason Goes to Hell Unrated, and Friday the 13th Part 3.

This replacement program is for these three discs only. For all other requests, please contact Shout! Factory at info@shoutfactory.com.

Replacement discs are scheduled to begin shipping on Monday, November 23rd. Shipping notifications will be emailed on or before November 27th.

Domestic customers (US only) will receive tracking numbers and can expect to receive their order within 6-12 days after shipment.

International orders are not trackable. Please allow 15-25 days for international delivery.

My order from 10/9 finally made it in today! And I'm happy with all the slips I got. Then again most of my titles were new releases so it would've been more surprising not to get a slip.

The big number of announcements is usually done at Comic-con in July each year. Sadly Shout Factory decided not to continue that tradition this year and so we don't have the 10-14 titles to look forward to/complain about that we do in most years.

In some years Shout Factory has used Halloween as a reason to announce a surprise title or two but that hasn't been very consistent and never was anywhere close to the same scale as the Comic Con announcements which I think you are thinking of. At this point most of us are just hoping for a return of regular announcements as the last 4 months have been consistently getting more and more disappointing and with only a single title announced for February it's not looking good for March either.

Shout makes their announcements during the first full week of the month typically so we'll know what (if anything) is in store for March in about 2.5 weeks.

It's all of the sets that come that way. You can request the replacement discs from the website SF posted a few weeks back. (dont have the link)

Dude, I love horror comics! I've always been more into superhero comics first, but as I got older I found horror comics to be just cool as hell. Thanks for the link, I'm in!

Awesome! The more the merrier. I'm hoping if this gets funded, it'll get some traction under the long-gestating project compiling all the Video Invasion articles from the magazine into one glorious volume...

I was interested in it, but after checking out the sample pages it looks like I actually own most of the original comics. But what does interest me is that Horrorhound is planning to publish their own comics. I will definitely be in for that when it comes out.
