No, and between Disney and 20th Century Films (or whatever they're calling the studio formerly known as Fox, these days) I don't get the impression that there are really all that many Scream Factory-relevant titles, to be had. A renewed / expanded Warner deal would likely have far more to offer this line.

Far more likely than Disney, and if they're willing to part with some of the more popular titles / franchises as well as some of the lesser titles, that could be a major boon to the Scream Factory line. Most of those titles are overdue for updated transfers, especially the titles that are still using the janky old Echo Bridge disc masters.

The problem with Miramax titles is that Miramax's majority holder, beIN Media Group, would have final say in any licensing (they're supposedly the reason why Criterion's "No Country For Old Men" never happened).

Stakeout, Splash, The Vanishing, The Village, Can’t Buy Me Love, Mischief, Without a Trace, Something Wicked This Way Comes... are a few Shout/Scream would be interested in.

But agree that a new Warner deal would yield more possibilities.

If Miramax titles were accessible, I'd like to see Scream do a remastered Existenz blu. Anything to get anymore Cronenberg!

the longer I live, the more convinced I am that this should have been a bona-fide classic--- surely it's one of the most overlooked genre films of all time.
I can't believe I don't even have a decent blu ray of this film....

Time is a flying. About three weeks from now we should know their May line up, so crossing my fingers it's as epic as they have made it seem it will be.

I'd be over the moon if Scream would release James Mangold's Identity from 2003. The current Blu-ray stinks, and deserves so much better. As a matter of fact all of Mangold's early work is awesome. Cop Land could use a proper release as well as Girl, Interrupted.

On Facebook maybe a month ago? Someone posted their quote here maybe a few pages back, but they pretty much said they weren't going to release anything until May and that we should save our money as it's going to be a crazy line up.

I haven't watched it in awhile, but what was wrong with the current Blu-ray of Identity? I remember the PQ looking good, and if Scream were to release it, it would be the same transfer as Sony doesn't let anyone mess with that.

Yeah the picture quality is great but as loud as the movie is in a good way, I noticed some audio crackle in scenes throughout the movie. I don't know if it's my disc or it might be because of an old blu-ray disc but I most certainly know it's not coming from my tv or speakers or anything related to that cause I played it back and still had popping/cackle. I don't know, I haven't encountered anything like this on other discs and I just watched it recently like 2 weeks ago.

Nice, bring on The Dead Zone or some more 4Ks.

Time really is literally flying...the Earth is spinning faster these days, according to scientists lol.

Shout's first set of announcements needs to be as epic as possible. If they blow in with weak titles it's just gonna further cement the notion that they're done. They can start with announcing another Warner deal and more Paramount titles

Hopefully they’re using this time to work with Mann on finally releasing a definitive version of The Keep.

Truth be told it's going to be pretty hard for Shout to really wow me with May announcements after the lengthy pause in releases. A Nightmare on Elm Street set would fit the bill as it's something folks have asked for AND would help to explain why there needed to be a pause in other releases as that one release alone would account for multiple films each requiring interviews, features, (and scans hopefully). That said, I do not expect ANOES in May (or possibly ever).

What I am expecting announced for May is a bunch of 4k re-releases. This would explain the "start saving your money" remark and would also potentially allow them to drop several at one time as they had to have the time to scan several films, add a few new features, design some new cover art, and then call it a day.

The Dead Zone seems plausible for May assuming that they weren't pulling folk's leg all this time but beyond that I'm keeping my expectations very, very low. I'd love to be shocked/surprised with some truly killer announcements but I worry that those days are largely behind us with Scream Factory and the corner we are about to turn is one squarely into double dip UHD territory.

I do expect the IFC Midnight film "Hunter Hunter" to be announced in the next month or 2 however and there will likely be a continued trend of IFC releases (which is a good thing).

Yeah, I hope it's not a bunch of rereleases. They did mention they had some slashers never released on Blu here, so there is that at least.

I think they might be releasing King Kong '76, but we'll see I guess.
