Speaking of cheese, TerrorVision is a fun film, but why pair it up with The Video Dead? That's just terrible.

They are movies with two different production values and tones. I was excited with the pairing at the time. Both movies were on a lot of "Best horror movies not on DVD" lists, and both of them were removed with one release.

I agree The Video Dead was probably requested through rose tinted glasses. That being said, I still dig it.

I mean, I get why the two films were paired together: the common thread of television being part of the plots. And of course, both films being unavailable on disc at the film, as you said, definitely helped excitement build.

I hadn't seen either film at the time SF released them, and blind bought the set. I was actually more interested in The Video Dead over TerrorVision, but after watching the two, I ended up not really digging TVD very much, but really enjoying TerrorVision.

It's not a Shout/Scream release, but the damn song from The Mutilator/Fall Break has been bouncing around in my head since watching it.

It's such an upbeat, toe-tapping, pop type of tune that's so awesomely juxtaposed to the slasher/horror genre movie that Mutilator is.

...and it's so damn catchy too

So, I was thinking and was talking to a friend about this film the other day. So I had to throw this out there. Hopefully Scream will upgrade Sleepaway Camp to UHD, since the rights seem to still be owned by them. I cannot think of a better horror than the last few minutes of that film in UHD HDR clarity.
Talk about a 'mind-bending reveal'....

With it being an older Samsung player I wonder if the issue is firmware. I wouldn't think that a 2019 film would trip it up but it does make sense.

I love the TerrorVision song!

I watch the Medusa's eyes turn green, but my own reflection I've never seen....

I like this song from Night of the Demons. Very 80s and catchy:

This same thing happens on my player. Random Region A locked titles won't play. When I encounter this problem I just play them through another player I have, but it is inconvenient.

Probably this Monday. I'm guessing Deadly Friend has been acquired by Scream, but this is a pretty big title. I think they might save it for Sept/Oct when it's closer to Halloween.

However, I'd love to be wrong and the earlier the better. I'm really hoping we hear something about Alone in the Dark soon.

Let's talk about Ninja III...

Thank you all for bringing this glorious masterpiece to my attention!

Next time it's going to be a double feature with Blood Beat

I hope Scream can put out Terror of the Tongs on BD as a stand alone release. I don’t want to buy the Hammer box set just for that one.

Just got an email from Best Buy saying that the release date for Event Horizon has changed to September 7th. And that sucks.
