I'm seeing an increase of eBay sellers listing SF's release of Exorcist 2: The Heretic. Has there been a new upgrade announcement or from another boutique label that I've missed??

Is Cheech Chong Next movie OOP, or just "out of stock"? Doesn't have the grayed out not available stamp like the others. Even Amazon doesn't have any copies left.

Since we got nothing today, I'm guess we'll get something next Monday. Crossing my fingers for the end of the week, but I doubt it.

No, Somebody e-mailed them about it a week ago and they said it was just out of stock at the moment.

While we wait for the next round of announcements, I'd like to implore the lovely folks at Shout (cmac - we know you still lurk) to please program last-watched memory into your discs. I hate, hate, hate having to start from the beginning every time I press stop. Sometimes I press it by mistake, sometimes I'm too tired to keep watching something and will continue the following day. It just sucks big time having to go through all the menus and trying to recall which scene I last watched. Thanks - I'll let you go back to prepping next week's announcements

Since Cool World was just announced that it's coming to bluray with new art.... I'm sure it's scream factory... or shout select....

I don't understand why SHOUT doesn't apply this very basic feature... most all other labels do. I'm a big fan of their releases, but this mars the experience...

Where was this information shared? That's a fairly big title that I feel would generate a bit of buzz as I would certainly be excited for it but I'm not seeing it anywhere here or online during a quick search.

With Cool World, I don’t see any mention of new art. That’s just a picture from the film that Bakshi’s account shares regularly. I’m beyond excited for it though. As much as I would love to somehow get his intended version of the film, I have a soft spot for what was released.

I do hope that whoever gets it, we get a new scan. Though I wouldn’t be shocked if we get a barebones $13 Paramount release with the HD version that’s already out.

Considering that Scream recently released Prince of Darkness in 4K, it’s inevitable that they will announce Halloween II, Halloween III: Season of the Witch, and some John Carpenter’s (I’m really hoping for Escape From New York) films in 4K. The real question is when that will happen. Scream knows very well that a lot of people are willing to double or triple dip for some of these titles if release in 4K format; and if Steel books and/or extras such as posters, are included, the better.

I would be surprised if we didn't see Halloween 2 and 3 on 4K by this October.

Perfect timing for Halloween Kills (if all goes accordingly).

Personally, I'm expecting they announce collector's editions of Tremors 2 and 3 this month. I've gotten into the series and both sequels have anniversaries this year (25 and 20 respectively). They'll go nicely with Arrow's release of the first film (and while it doesn't have to be obligated, provided the commissioned covers are by Matt Frank to match what he did for the first film).

The whole forum seems a bit more dead than usual. Hopefully the July titles wakes this place up a bit. Hope we get some good stuff.
