Man. I hope Lionsgate decides to give some horror flicks a chance to be on blu and let other distributors release them.
P2 really needs a release.

I'm on the fence about King Kong, mostly because it's just an ok movie overall. I haven't watched in years though, but those extras, especially the Baker commentary are enticing.

Yes. My order with "He Knows You're Alone", "Eyes of a Stranger", and "Wildcats" is coming in today. It's out for delivery.

However, my "King Kong" shipped after them, and hasn't moved since. It's still just 'shipping label created'. I hope it just shows up, soon, tracking not withstanding.

I would say we are minutes away from finding out about the August slate. Wonder if there will be any collector editions this month.

It's usually never confirmed. It's been the second Monday of the month for last 3 months or so. Just basing it off of that.

Well, it's 12 eastern and no announcements. This can only mean one thing. The world ends before August 2021. Just pray that the shipments of The Dead Zone aren't late.

I'm pretty sure Shout/Scream are the only label who leave you guessing in terms of when their announcements are going to take place, which for a company as big as them is kind of mind boggling. After nearly 9 years of this approach (SDCC appearances notwithstanding), it'd be nice if the Friday before Scream let you know they were announcing stuff on the coming Monday. Maybe even a tease? Would it be that difficult? As I said before, their interactions with fans (nay, customers) leaves something to be desired.

Shout announcements are typically unveiled in the late afternoons IIRC. Remember, Shout is on the West Coast. They're still asleep while most of us are hard at work

They are usually by this point. I know this as I have my break at the same time everyday, and when I come back from it, the announcements have been made. Maybe they will be a little late today, or not at all. Hoping they are still coming.

Actually they pop up on their website around 12eastern. Sometimes they might put half of the announcements up at 12, the other half a hour or so later.

Granted it isn't like that every single time, but usually.

Last month's announcements were at around 11:30am eastern time. It varies with them month to month. Usually if we haven't heard anything by around 4pm eastern, there's no announcements that day.
