Amazon appears to be matching the Barnes and Noble 40% off sale on most Scream titles. Not every one I've checked, but most!

This Scream sale has gotten me pretty good. Picked up five titles already. The Entity, The Blob, Tales from the Darkside, Wild at Heart, and Kalifornia. Now I just wait and worry about how many are gonna come with a slip.

I'm super bummed that The Wizard sold out before I had a chance to place my order this evening. That was a great price on that one and a film I wasn't likely going to spend more on than that asking price. I had a list of several other maybe titles but most were double dips that I wasn't super sold on since I've been spending a fair bit of money as of late. I decided to dig a bit deeper into my want list and found that the Arrow video release of Cruising was discounted and had a $3.66 coupon as well and so I picked up that and American Gothic for $29 shipped. Hopefully this sale lasts all month as there are more titles I'd consider after payday.

Would like to grab King Kong while it's only $21, that's one that sold out, but it can still be ordered at that price as of now. Plus heavily debating a few blind buys, but the Criterion sale is on my mind as of late, so I have to try and cool it on this sale. Very pleased this is taking place, I definitely hope this happens again this summer.

Had to be conservative with the Severin sale coming up. Only grabbed Day of the Dead, Psycho (remake), & Class of 1984.

Yeah, there's a few i want to pick up but I'll pass for now as i need that money for the Severin sale and the upcoming Criterion Sale as well.

Seeing these titles drop this week is a nice surprise, even though I already own most of the ones I want. But I keep checking back, hoping that the Universal Horror Collections drop in price.

I'm tempted to pick up The Masque of the Red Death and When a Stranger Calls Back, but I already have Masque in the original Vincent Price collection and I have When a Stranger Calls Back in the release from Second Sight.

Quick question, is the picture for the standalone MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH the same as in the Vincent Price collection or is it a new master?

I hope the announcement for the Brotherhood of the Wolf features is close. It's a little over a month away from release.

I also hope that Crying Freeman gets a release from Shout. It just makes sense since they have the rest of Gans' films.

The standalone was remastered and the remaster is avaliable in the reprinting of the Price Collection Vol 1. If you have the original version of the Price Collection, it's the old transfer.

Anyone know if the Vincent Price collections always ship with the slipcover~no matter the retailer? I remember asking them about the Universal Horror sets, and they always do~wasn't sure about these though

I bit the bullet on Glengarry Glenn Ross but am on the fence about Th13teen Ghosts. Eighteen bucks is still a bit much for a by-the-numbers (and flashy) horror flick littered with CGI. Only reason I'm even considering buying it is to have a standalone copy of the film. I've already replaced the second half of the double feature (House of Wax). Nothing else I need, really, but those are indeed great prices for Shout Factory titles.
