It was $39.99 at my local Wal-Marts when it went out of print. I thought about grabbing a copy even though i have the 15-disc deluxe set but ended up passing on it.

Any word on Scream's annual Summer of Fear sale? The recent Amazon sale was awesome and I know Shout's got their Hidden Gems deals going on right now but I haven't heard anything about a 2021 SOF one yet. Thanks in advance.

I wonder if there is any chance we'll get the September titles this week.

Sounds good, thanks! Yeah after this current Kino sale, the Criterion in July and hopefully SOF in July as well, I'm wrapping it up for summer. That'll be enough money spent.

Would be great, but I'd just be happy if we got them next week. Knowing Scream it'll be the week commencing the 12th.

My honest guess it will be on the 5th. They announced their August titles on May 31st, so hoping for something like that happening here.

Happy you scored mate. Anytime I clicked on a Scream Factory title that was reduced on Amazon, every single one came up as unavailable or sold out.

The Scream Summer sale, may not be as good as the recent AMZ sale. That recent AMZ sale was pretty good. Got "Eyes Of A Stranger" for $16 and change. Let's hope that the Scream Summer Sale is just as good.

They Live is such an excellent release. So is Candyman (they released an extremely rare extended version of it on their 2 BD release). Tales From the Hood is on my watchlist now as I'll see it soon.

Cat People
The Guardian
Jack's Back
Bubba Ho-Tep
Lifeforce
Village of the Damned
Class of 1984
Assault on Precinct 13
King Cobra

Between the B2G1 sales, an Orbit DVD order, Hamilton Books and the B&N 40% off sale (with Amazon price matching) I blew through practically all of my wish list last month.

About 30 releases total. Mostly odds and ends.

They had the regular set at Wal-mart for $55. Not the deluxe set I was referencing. The 10 Disc set can be had on e-bay right now for Under $100.

I don't doubt another deluxe set from some brand will be released in the future. Maybe not this year, but eventually for sure.

According to Wikipedia, Anchor Bay Entertainment was folded into Lionsgate Home Entertainment in 2017

Which means Lionsgate now owns 1,4, and 5, so we can forget about another set.

As long as we get a better release for every Halloween film with lots of extras for each movie, there’s no need for a new set.
