I expect Deadly Friend and Army of Darkness are virtual locks for October, so it'll be interesting to see what else we get. Halloween 5 probably has a good chance, though acquiring the remaining films in the franchise might be tricky (I doubt Paramount would be willing to sub-licence Miramax titles). And if Halloween 5 was the only other installment they could get, you'd think they'd just release it in September with the rest, so perhaps this is all they're doing?

Also, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a UHD of The Fog.

I'm good on rebuying these Halloween movies over and over again. Even as a diehard how many "collectors editions" can they put out? It's lost all meaning.

Having said that the only two I'd buy are Halloween 4 and 5. I want to see those two cleaned up with HDR and stuff. 5 is a personal favorite of mine probably my number 4 behind the original, 2018, and Rob Zombie 2.

Alone in the Dark & H1 & 2 I want for sure. The other Halloween movies I’ll think about. If I get them all it’ll be the first time I’ve bought everything title they’ve released in a month.

I don't think the box set would be redundant. I'd just pull out the 1-4 old blu's and replace them with the 4k-UHDs.

Alone In the Dark! Only big Warner title missing is Deadly Friend, which is likely happening in October as BarnDoor said, but I'm still a little concerned there may be issues preventing a release.

Excited about the Halloweens but what about 5? Also, hopefully Shout can do something with the extra footage recently unearthed for Halloween 4 or 5 (or both?). I actually REALLY love Halloween 4 and 5.

Saw something about The Thing UHD - is that coming directly from Universal?

In for all the Halloween 4Ks. Hopefully they were able the get 6-8 and they'll release the remaining 4 in October! Love this announcement!

I'll happily pick up Halloween 1 - 4 in 4K, along with Alone in the Dark. I do hope that the absence of Halloween 5 means that it's coming in October with Halloween 6 - 8, but if not, my blu-rays are good enough until the 4K releases come along.

For me the box set is the last rebuy for me. As good as the set is see no reason for more. Do completely understand others wanting the uhd. I actually prefer older films like Halloween to not be crystal clear and have some color fade. Do hope all who are looking forward to the uhd, that it meets your expectations.
