My rankings:

Halloween
Halloween 4
Halloween 5
Halloween II
Halloween 6 Producer's Cut
Halloween H20 (not a bad movie at all)
Halloween Resurrection.

I didn't rank Halloween III because, to me, it's a standalone film, but if I were to rank it, it would go after Halloween 5 and before Halloween II
My last marathon of this franchise was I believe last Summer but from what I remember I'd rate the core series exactly the same except that I'd likely put the theatrical cut of H6 on the list instead of the producer's cut. I'd likely put RZH1 after Halloween II, RZH2 after H20, and the 2018 Halloween after either RZH1 or after H6. Since I haven't watched the 2018 film since seeing it in the theater however It's hard for me to really pinpoint where to put that one, but I do know it would be bellow parts 2,3,4,5 and RZH1.

I loved Rob Zombie's hyper-realistic take on the franchise. I rank those and the 2018 film separately, though.

I loved the Nanny since seeing it on TV as a kid. Hammer made many great films that few people have seen. Cash on Demand, with it's bland title, turned out to be a great thriller.

Don't get overly hyped as that can be really bad for appreciating a movie. I knew nothing about it when I first watched it.

Lightbulb Shout! Factory cancellations???

I went ahead & pre-ordered this:

Halloween 1-5 Blu-ray
Shout Factory Exclusive / Bundle with 3 7" Vinyl + 5 Posters / 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray
Shout Factory | 1978-1989 | 5 Movies, 7 Cuts | Rated R | Sep 28, 2021 (2 Months)

My question is, how long does Shout! Factory give you if I wanted to cancel my order & how do/would they refund into PayPal Credit (how does that work, I’ve never done that)?

I’m wavering at the moment & think do I want/need the vinyls/goodies!!???

If you change your mind, you can buy all 5 films individually and it'll still be much cheaper versus buying the collection altogether just to have the vinyls.

That's what I'll probably end up doing.

I feel like Shout would be foolish to not cancel your order for you to spend MORE money.

Odd how some of the Halloween 4K's are back up to 36 and change on Amazon. Doesn't affect me as my order was in day 1. Just find it odd. I'm sure they'll re-drop.

Chamber of Horrors showed up on Saturday - totally forgot I ordered it. Love it when this happens. Main reason I ordered it was to get free shipping but I thought it was a safe blind buy.

I’m most likely going to keep my pre-order !...

what I like as a plus in getting the vinyls is the nice looking slipcase they will provide + the pins (Set includes 5 hard enamel pins measuring approximately 1.5" high) are real neat... I do like my Premium goodies! ...

Three 7" on exclusive and limited edition red, orange, and yellow splatter vinyl via Sacred Bones for Halloween (1978), Halloween II (1981), and Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982), each housed in a lavish slipcase with new art by frequent Carpenter collaborator Chris Bilheimer.

So what are you hoping Scream will announce at Comic-Con?

My guesses:

-Westworld 4K/Blu-ray Collector's Edition
-Futureworld 4K/Blu-ray Collector's Edition
-Escape From New York 4K/Blu 40th Anniversary Edition
-The Fog 4K/Blu Collector's Edition
-The Terminator 4K/Blu Collector's Edition
-Creepshow 4K/Blu-ray 40th Anniversary Edition
-Individual releases of Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X
-The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning Collector's Editions (4K too?)
-Xtro 40th Anniversary Edition
-Xtro 2
-Nightmare on Elm Street Box Set

Possibly but very unlikely:
-Tremors 2 and 3 Collector's Editions
-Halloween 6, H20, Resurrection, and RZ Halloween 1 and 2 4K/Blu Collector's Editions
-Poltergeist Box Set
-Chucky Box Set
-Deal with Disney/Fox
-Deal Continuation with Paramount now including Miramax titles

The virtual 'at home' one is, and while Shout are participating, there's no mention of Scream announcing anything, so presumably once again new announcements aren't happening.

I would put Nightmare on Elm Street set in the unlikely section for Comic Con.

Man, today has not been my day for finding what I'm looking for online. For some reason, I have not been able to figure out how to watch the events from the virtual ComicCon. Is it on YouTube?

(OT rant: Ever since GOOGLE became an evil monopoly their Search Engine has deteriorated to levels nearly as bad as all the old ones they put out of business).

Shout's content at least doesn't look to be on YouTube unfortunately:
