Looking at Wikipedia, I'd say any deal could only include TWC titles released after 1st October 2005, since everything beforehand released under the Dimension/Miramax banner would be with Paramount.

The W****** Company controlled the post-2005 Dimension output (which included Sin City: A Dame to Kill For) and Lionsgate now owns the TWC catalog. Ether Shout got a package deal from Lionsgate for select TWC titles, or perhaps Frank Miller himself now owns the sequel and Shout got it directly from him. Miller now owns the first Sin City, but Paramount/Miramax extended their US distribution rights and are basically licencing video/digital rights in conjunction with Miller.

All I need from them now that we have Deadly Friend (sort of) is Freaks (I think Criterion has that one), The Devils, the unedited Exorcist 1, Poltergeist, Terminator 1 and 2, The Abyss, and Child’s Play 2 and 3 and my Scream Factory collection will be complete.

I picked up the UK edition titled Paradise Lost. Not sure if it's the only existing BD edition of the film but I'm sure glad I have it. Great little modern thriller.

The current speculation is that there must of been a deal worked prior July before Lionsgate acquired the TWC catalog. Or perhaps there IS a deal with Lionsgate.

No, I think he was saying that since WAC had an error on their release of Leatherface, he is glad SF is releasing Killer Party and/or Deadly Friend.

And yet WAC still has a better track record for QC than Shout Factory. In fact, most discs in the WAC look absolutely incredible.

Oh, no doubt. I love every WAC release I've watched thus far. I think that all labels make mistakes, some much more so than either WAC or SF.
