I would love that. I've never come around on a movie in such an extreme way as I have RZH2. I HATED it in theaters. Now I think its just fantastic.

At least I have the studio bluray to keep me happy during the holidays after I've watched Elf 10 times... This movie really is dark. I was surprised at how dark it is, but I love it.

I remember reading an interview with him back in the day where he said that it was going to be about double the length of the RZH1 doc. He was probably joking but I'd honestly shell out full retail price for that alone haha. Zombie's bts docs are so good.

Dang. Would have loved that on the blu. Really wish Lionsgate put that doc on Devil's Rejects as well.

Yeah, I think he said it's like 8 hrs long. Basically like watching them make the movie. I hope we get it someday.

I've seen some posts saying they're already not getting slips for House Of Wax from Amazon but has anyone got one with slip recently?

How is Krampus delayed only after being announced a few days ago? Seems odd.

Scream's no longer shrinkwrapping the slip so it looks like someone's stealing/tossing the slips at the warehouse.

So is Scream done for the rest of the year? November was a washout (so was October to a degree). I'm happy about the Halloween films on 4K and, of course, Deadly Friend, but is this it for 2021?

I wondered the same thing and came to 4 potential conclusions.

1) After announcement something changed regarding the licensing agreement for better or worse. On one hand, perhaps something positive happened to allow for Scream Factory to now include the Theatrical cut. On the other hand, perhaps licensing wasn't as straightforward as originally thought and now there are problems with the fact that it's a UHD release which would in theory allow it to be sold worldwide due to the lack of region locking.

2. Perhaps something happened to the film elements/transfer thus delaying the project. As we've seen in the past, Scream Factory will occasionally announce things before they've checked the elements. If there was a problem with the 4k transfer they planned to use they may have had to order another scan which may put them behind schedule for the planned release window.

3. Perhaps Scream Factory have grown tired of Diabolik shipping out new releases early and are punishing them for doing so by telling them there will be a delay.

4. Perhaps Diabolik was branded as "the leaker" and are now being punished by Scream Factory. If you recall, back in 2017 or so, Diabolik wasn't allowed to advertise/sell certain releases for a period of time for reasons most of us assumed had to do with the switch to MAP pricing but also many of us openly speculated may have had something to do with the early shipment policies. Perhaps this "delay" is exclusive to them and/or other boutiques for some similar reasons.


Until we hear it direct from Scream Factory I'm not going to put a ton of stock in the delay announcement but am prepared for the worst. (The worst being the title drops in January when no one wants to watch Christmas themed films anymore). That all said... I'd find a great deal of humor if "The leaker" thought carried any weight whatsoever and had anything to do with this despite Diabolik being as tightlipped as anyone from what I personally have seen.

Received mine about 2-3 weeks ago with a slip. The slip was not shrink wrapped to the blu......but it was in mint condition.

It is on blu but could do with an upgrade from a company like Scream. I think we're the only two people who remember that movie though...
