I can get on, but it has been slow as hell since yesterday. And by slow as hell I mean taking 60-120 second to load when I'm clocking 55-60 MBPS...

With so many slashers now available on Blu Ray (and also horror films with no previous disc release) I'd love to see Scream Factory put together their own comprehensive History of Slashers or History of 80's horror, feature length documentary. There have been a number of great docs released in the past but I'd love to see something that focused on the lesser known titles like Killer Party, The Mangler, The Majorettes, Rock N Roll Nightmare, etc. Titles that Scream Factory may not have released but that are well worth tracking down for fans of the genre.

Alternatively, if a full feature length Doc like this isn't in the cards, I'd love to see a sort of Countdown special similar to Bravo's 100 Scariest Movie moments or Shock till you Drops "The 50 Best Horror Movies You Haven't Seen" special. Severin released the excellent docs on the Video Nasties and I feel like Scream Factory could/would benefit from a special of their own. Perhaps partnering with Stephen Thrower and bringing his Nightmare USA Book to life via a 2 hour Doc (Complete with trailers for all the films mentioned in it just like the video Nasties Docs did) would be another idea.

As much as I love horror films, I love learning about them and discovering new films just as much and this could be a way for Scream Factory to capitalize on the market in ways not currently possible due to various licensing agreements.
I really do love this idea and I'm a special features nerd, so this is right up my alley. I'm not sure if it's still up there, but there streaming site had a miniseries documentary on Roger Corman and his movies (I think it was like 10 episodes, give or take). I don't think it was produced by Shout! themselves, but I couldn't help to think how cool it would be if they did something like that but ongoing with other directors/themes...

1,500 each will be manufactured. They’re in stock and ready to ship now! Order while they last as they are expected to sell out.

Order DEAD SPACE (1991) @ https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=7695
BLUEBEARD (1972): The legendary Richard Burton (Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?) stars with some of the most stunning women to ever grace the silver screen in the bizarre tale of Bluebeard. The aristocratic Baron Kurt Von Sepper (Burton) has always been known as a lady-killer among his friends and acquaintances … but the women in his life have a nasty habit of turning up dead. With the lovely Anne (Joey Heatherton) for his seventh wife, all is wedded bliss until Anne discovers that within the Baron’s estate lies the gruesome truth about his previous marriages. As the Baron reveals the sordid details of his past, Anne must find a way to outwit her horrifying husband before she meets her predecessors’ fates. Featuring Raquel Welch, Virna Lisi, Nathalie Delon, and Marilù Tolo, BLUEBEARD is a dark and sumptuous depiction of a cold-blooded killer.
Region A. Includes new HD transfer of the film from the original camera negative, Theatrical Trailer and Still Gallery. English Subtitles.
DEAD SPACE (1991): Marc Singer (The Beastmaster; V), Judith Chapman (Scorpio One, Mortal Fear) and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Wakefield) star in this fast-paced futuristic horror thriller, a loose remake of the Roger Corman-produced Forbidden World. On the planet Phaebon, a controlled research facility had been thought to be safe … until a breach unleashes alien terrors unknown. A distress signal calls for Commander Krieger (Singer) and his robot cohort Tinpan (Rodger Halston). Together, they must contend with a rapidly spreading virus and an odd — and growing — cocoon.
Region A. Includes new 4K transfer of an extended Cut of the film from the original camera negative! Other bonus extras: The original cut of the film (in Standard Definition), Audio Commentary with Director Fred Gallo on the original cut and trailer. English Subtitles.

Bluebeard should be a StudioCanal title, so interesting that they'd take this approach with something not from the Shout-owned Corman catalogue.

Bluebeard is a lot of fun.

Dead Space, well, it lives up to its title.

I bought both, too. I wonder what the extra 6 minutes is in "Dead Space".

Great announcements. Dead Space should be a huge upgrade over their DVD release which was a old SD transfer in 4:3.

Nice, glad to see Dead Space, I can officially sell my old dvd double feature with the Terror Within. I remember loving Terror but not caring much for Dead Space but it's a Corman monster movie so I got to get it!
I'm still hoping for a double feature of The Watchers 1 and 2, both great little monster movies from Corman too. I wonder who has the rights to these.

They couldn’t put Dead Space in a double feature with a semi-related flick? Paying $26 plus shipping for one of these titles is kind of difficult to stomach.

Never watched Dead Space, but I'll give it a shot. Ordered both as I've been waiting for Blue Beard for a long time.

IIRC, Bluebeard ended up with Westchester Films sometime after Lionsgates remaining rights expired. Shout purchased Westchester a few years ago and now only do limited editions on titles they own. That could explain why StudioCanal dosent own it.

It's sort of a double feature. The old SD version is also included of the original cut.

I hear you, I find the double features to be a better deal since you're getting to movies for the price of one. But it is what it is. Picked up both.

If they hadn't already released Forbidden world (twice on blu ray, I missed out on the steelbook alas ) they could have done a double feature with Forbidden and Dead Space, since DS is a remake of Forbidden.
I forgot Bryan Cranston was in Dead Space hehe. The movie might be mediocre but the monster is pretty cool. It reminds me of the smaller versions of Destroyah in Godzilla vs Destroyah.

Never heard of Bluebeard, but has a pretty nice cast — what's up with Agostina Belli being "falconated"? That's a real term ?

I want to to say no, but maybe it is? I'm not sure if there is a specific word for someone being killed by a falcon.
