Fyi, I received my new copies for the Corman movies Humanoids of the deep and Forbidden world and they both came with a booklet, so it seems shout are still making them!

So anyone who got the new Halloween editions. . .

How are the blu-ray transfers comparing to the original Scream releases? I have the very first SF releases for 2 and 3 and catalogue editions for 1, 4, and 5. Am interested in these for the blu’s, but wanted to hear some reports about them first (I don’t have 4K capabilities yet)

Got shipping notice on my Halloween Set. UPS says it should be here Tuesday Just waiting now on a combo order I did for Alone in the Dark and Elvira. Not sure why that would be lagging so much (placed the order after they got Alone into stock).

Still no shipping notice from SF for any of my Halloween 4KUHDs, ordered all 5 immediately after they were announced. Dead Zone showed up without ntoce though, so i keep wondering if I'll walk out on my porch one day and be surprised.

Pretty huge bummer when you preorder directly from the label because they historically would ship before street dates, only to get it well after those who didn't preorder all got theirs. Assuming they were delayed for the stupid posters.

Yeah, I ordered all 5 probably within an hour of the links going live and I still haven't received a shipment notice from SF either.

Amazon.ca finally sent me my copy of the first movie. I hated the art when I first saw it (and honestly still don't think it's particularly good) but I have to say I really like the packaging, the colors look a lot better in person and the whole thing feels like a premium release. I just wished it had a booklet with it. Never bought the complete collection from shout so i'm glad to finally have this.

I ordered the big bundle with the pins from SF. I never got a shipping notice email, but it surprisingly showed up today.

The giant box had a nice big cardstock Scream Factory logo print attached to the top. Was glued to the top, but also very easy to remove. Might be nothing to most, but I collect posters, so it was a nice touch for me.

I ordered all 5 immediately as well and haven’t received a shipping notification. I wish they would have given us an option to purchase them directly without the posters.

And it appears to have shipped from Clark & Riggs Printing, not directly from SF.

I did get an email this morning (from UPS because of my UPS account, not from SF or C&R) that I had a package from Clark & Riggs being delivered today. Wondered what the hell it was.

I double checked back and confirmed I never did receive a shipping notice email, not SF or from Clark & Riggs. Nada until the UPS out for delivery email came in today. Probably having it ship form C&R has something to do with that.

Steelbooks came with the booklets, or the original releases??

Original releases. The steelbooks didn't have any booklets and are also sold for a fortune now. The original releases, which albeit don't have the newer transfers, at least have the origjnal posters, the same extras and little booklets. Best of all, they aren't sold for a fortune. Just wished scream would have rereleased them with the new transfers once the steelbooks sold out...

I wanted the original releases, but I did manage to pick up the steelbook. I guess I'm grateful now, but I did want the booklets. Didn't think my steels had those booklets...
