Not for the first run of Limited editions.
I have a feeling the only reason we got the rigid chipboard for Creepshow is because Scream knew it would always be compared to the Arrow release of part 2.

There are some Arrow LE's that are just a slipcover, maybe with a bonus disc or postcards inside the case. Only the ones that come with a book and/or fold-outs are in a slipbox.

And Arrow's slipbox LE's make the Halloween ones look so empty and pointless. The ones for Creepshow and Nightbreed at least had content that required a box to hold it all.

I’m willing to bet the simple slips are far outnumbers by the rigid slip boxes.
Arrow started with terrible cardboard cases and changed it up. I bought the Bride of Reanimator set upon release date and it’s not great.

In the announcement render it showed a closed top so I assumed we were getting a Halloween-style chipboard case.
A slip box for Alligator + The Howling...would have been icing on the cake.

I haven’t gotten Alligator yet but I also made the assumption it was a Halloween style case from that photo.

Arrow does not do anything special for their packaging. They just use fat cases. They are WAY overpriced, even more so than Scream Factory.

well ALLIGATOR met expectations and then some ! Had an absolute blast with it and I see myself adding it to my regular rotation of movies. The picture quality was also amazing on the 4k for such an oddity. What a great release, and I haven’t even dove into any of the special features yet!

Wow, that teaser trailer was fantastic! Not 1979 Alien teaser trailer fantastic, mind you but it was still really good. Sells the movie well, doesn't show much, that's how you tease a movie. Much better than the theatrical trailer.

That and the longer trailer I saw posted on SF's youtube made me decided to blind buy this and the sequel. I knew John Sayles was a writer on it and I've seen Lewis Teague's Stephen King films but I never really paid attention to Alligator. Looking forward to it now.

Little help from the group please. I have these old Scream titles loaded in my cart at Best Buy and I would like to know if anyone thinks that I should definitely keep, or absolutely toss any title given the associated price which I would be paying for it. In no particular order, I have to pick from...

$11.99

$10.39

$7.99

Not from the Factory, but I also have

$7.99

Night of the Comet and Slumber Party Massacre are steals at those prices.
