Agreed. I'd like to get The Beastmaster on Blu-Ray as well. Yet another film that Anchor Bay let go wayside (not that they'd do anything with it if they still had it).

Sigh, why must Coscarelli's output be limited to three Blu-Rays in the US (not counting the overseas release of Bubba Ho-Tep)?

Echo Bridge has the title, and they do not sub license.

So no chance any other obscure Sword n Sorcery or Mad Mad type films will get a dvd release from Shout besides that 4 pack coming?

Wait a sec, first you say Beastmaster is with SF, then you say it's with EB, which is it?
Also I never heard of Hawk the Slayer being with SF, where did you hear this?
Ditto for the amount the Sword & the Sorcerer owners want? Sources are always nice.

It doesn't say that Beastmaster or Hawk the Slayer are licensed by Shout anywhere

It reads as '2 are licensed' then lists those 2 with no listing of the licensor. Then it mentions that Barbarian Queen is with Shout, as we all know it was on a DVD 4 pack already.

Sorry I read: "nope, since two are already licensed, HAWK THE SLAYER, BEASTMASTER, BARBARIAN QUEEN is already with Shout, and the owners of SWORD AND THE SORCERER wants 6 figures to license."

as all three were with SF

Perhaps I should've read it like this:
"nope, since two are already licensed: HAWK THE SLAYER & BEASTMASTER. BARBARIAN QUEEN is already with Shout, and the owners of SWORD AND THE SORCERER wants 6 figures to license."

Which I'll change my post to ask, who has already licensed Hawk the Slayer & Beastmaster....and where is to sourced that the owners of Sword & the Sorcerer want "six figures" to license.

I also thought he said 'Beastmaster' was with Shout - it's the way it was worded. Anyhoo, how did EB end up with Beastmaster? There's an MGM logo on the original poster. As much as the sequels suck, I still think a box set collecting all 3 films would be neat.

While that is true we should and have thanked Shout for releasing a lot of movies that have only been on VHS (in the USA)..including The Horror Show, Scanners II, TerrorVision etc..
Of course the big one for me that hasnt gotten any release here is still Without Warning but I think that will change sooner or later.
I will suggest to you if there are titles you are looking for is to contact the owners as some of our peers have mentioned - Echo Bridge, Hens Tooth via email or if they have a Facebook page. A lot of us suggest titles to Scream Factory on their FB page and then we find out who owns it, etc..
Hope this helps

I wouldn't mind seeing a Blu of Barbarian Queen...I know Shout released that DVD but a scene or two was missing from the VHS version I had and would love a complete version.

Don't Go To Sleep used to scare me as a kid.I used to have nightmares of that girl at the end.

I go to that site a lot (and I mean a lot), and it seems pretty accurate for the most part. Of course, if you've encountered any errors, you can correct them yourself.

Yes, they are extremely reliable and the most extensive online database that I know of. I have no idea what Jimmy is talking about.
