I ordered that exact same bundle last week and received it today. I'm keep my expectations for both films very, very low, but am hopeful I'll find something enjoyable about each.

Not saying I know you, but if I know you (just judging from your posts on the forum).....I think you'll find something to like about Watchers 2. Captures everything there is to love about that era (late 80's/early 90's) and style ( DTV, horror/action, low budget) of movies. And most importantly it's entertaining. Longtime favorite, stoked it got released. Another positive is the PQ looks really good.

God, I hate these limited store exclusives.

Especially the Corman releases, since there is no reason for Shout/ Scream to limit these. They outright own the catalogue. It's plain old artificial scarcity.

Gotta agree with the recent episode of Cereal at Midnight - I don't see how this extreme everything-is-limited is sustainable in the long run. It feels a bit like the comic book scene of the 1990s.

( ... and, yes, full disclosure, I am mostly just disappointed that I forgot to order The Day the World Ended, when I put in an order for some of the exclusives a couple of days ago)

Yeah, as a Canadian, this is even worse, these exclusives come back to 50$ with shipping, which would be ok for a Arrow limited edition but certainly not for barebones releases like these. I still buy the ones i've been dying to see released for years (all Corman monster movies, Attack of the crab monsters, Dead space, the Terror within double features and now Watchers 2) but stuff I'm on the fence like The day the world ended (never saw it), I just don't get them. You guys at least can get free shipping if you order enough of them, unlike us Canadians. :P
I wished a Canadian company would carry these exclusives, something like Unobstructed views for example.

No free shipping for me, though. I am Danish, so I have to order them through a re-shipper, which makes them even more expensive. I also have to pay my local 25% VAT on top of that (on the value of the items AND shipping) and a courier handling fee of $20-25.

With most boutique labels doing some kind of the limited edition game, I gets impossible to keep up with. And, yes, Shout's store exclusive releases definitely end up on a bucket list - they are just too expensive for what you get. If they had done double-features, the prices would be acceptable. But for barebones releases ... ? Unfortunately, for most of the titles, they are the only option.

Looks like the next batch are slowly leaking. Species UHD, the anime Pompo, and the Jane Fonda film Georgia Rules so far.

Nice! I never got around to picking up SF’s release of “Species” and I’ve been wanting to revisit the franchise.

“Georgia Rules” on the other hand…

Your timing on this question was impeccable.

Given the quick turn around time from announcement to release, I'm going to assume this was negotiated for during the original licensing agreement and not something that happened under the Amazon ownership tenure to refer back to my previous response earlier in this thread.

These films are not mentioned in SF's website, nor in their Instagram or Facebook. So where's this source coming from?

I posted it one page back below the post you quoted. Also, that's not how leaks work. If Scream Factory posted about it, that would be called an announcement.

Okay, Scream Factory, if you're releasing 4K upgrades of OOP discs, can we get "Dolls" and "Disturbing Behavior" in 4K?

As for Shout Select, if "Georgia Rule" is coming soon, I'd love to see them release "Because I Said So" with Mandy Moore & Diane Keaton, originally released around the same time in the mid-00's.

Does anyone know of any places that might have existing HD masters of Watchers 1,3 and Reborn?

I actually have VHS copies of the other sequels but don't want to pay the insane DVD prices of the other ones.

If Shout is putting out Species 4k, I hope they reissue the other movies. the 2nd one is going for silly money at this point.

I'm not familiar with Species. Does the film lean toward horror or sci-fi?

From memory sci-fi. With a splash of soft-core.

Given the recent delays, I wouldn't be surprised if Species 4K UHD was the only new release for July. Hope I'm wrong though.

Ha I got my answer from yesterdays post about the MGM/Amazon deal and ask specifically about species! Lol love it. Now with 88 films collection ordered and on its way with the OOP sequel and getting this 4k edition I’ll be complete!
