...and I'd argue that the first one doesn't need yet another release, 4k or otherwise, and that parts 2 and 3 are the ones most deserving/needing of an upgrade... 4k or Blu Ray.

I hope we get Silent Hill, Bad Moon, From Beyond, Return Of The Living Dead, Creepshow, Critters, Night Of The Demons, Night Of The Comet, Night Of The Creeps, Pumpkinhead and Dolls on 4K. And of course a bunch of other new releases as well.

The Dr Strange movie is shown on the scream site as a pre-order. Yet the date is April 26. Is it a pre-order or is it available now?

I would have never guessed that Dr. Strange would have sold through 1500 copies so quickly. I suppose that should give Shout Factory a glimpse into their audience though. Wonder how long it will be until Shout Drops this bad boy on us for it's long overdue world premier...

It's a shame that Avi Arad went to such great lengths to bury this film, because it's much more enjoyable than any of the subsequent films.

IIRC there may be rights issues with that though they have been selling a (poor HD upscale) Blu-Ray on the Doomed website.

It's a "rights issue" in the sense that Avi Arad purchased the film with the intent that it was never to be released and that all copies were to be destroyed. All known copies that have "escaped" this order appear to be sourced from a tape master of indeterminate origin. It's unclear if any original film elements still exist.
