Ah, gone seem the days when Shout/Scream had their own, big panel at ComicCon, where they'd announce a big list of major, upcoming titles.

Well, I got a pretty awesome Imprint announcement today.

Also, Quiver announced the new Walter Hill film I've been waiting for, a western with Christoph Waltz and Willem Dafoe, is hitting blu ray in October.

I'd still love some Shout/Scream announcements today....

Gone really are a lot of days re. Scream. . . Ah well.

Of course, you're correct, but you get the point, still.

Forgive that a lot of us Shout/Scream fans came to associate San Diego ComicCon with being one of the most exciting times of year for Shout/Scream fans. And we'd hoped they had something to reveal, that's all. I don't think anyone's really been damning them, LOL.

I haven't seen any, 'This is inexcusable! This is ridiculous! Scream doesn't care about their fans!' stuff, LOL.

As an actual comic fan, I have seen exactly two stories come out of COMIC-con that's actually about comics over the last two days. Far more info about movies, TV shows and games. It's been a total washout for me. They should just call it Super-Hero Media-con, although that might not roll off the tongue so easily, or sound as snappy.

Fair enough if you don't like it, but personally I am still kicking my self for not grabbing it back then. A friend of mine even send me a picture of one that was for sale at a market for $14 a few months ago. Unfortunately, I was occupied elsewhere and first saw the message after he had left the place.

Back in March at a horror con, I spoke to the artist who did the cover art for the first 5 4K UHD releases and he said that Curse, H20, and Resurrection are coming and that he's doing the art work for the releases.

I guess Shout couldn't strike a deal with Lionsgate to license RZ's H & HII for 4K UHD for those wanting to pick them up?

It's possible Lionsgate releases both titles themselves on UHD to ride the Halloween Ends hype train in October.

I think Cinedigm still has the home media rights to the first film and Sony for the second.
