I think these two are pretty likely to happen since the second and third films are happening now.

40 per film. They're asking 40 for Resurrection.
If I can grab 6 4k off ebay down the road I'll see it that way.
I'll never buy this set.
The price will go down at other retailers. Just because Shout is charging that much doesn't mean it's the only place to get it.

And Resurrection was dealing with the aftermath of reality TV taking over American televisions, and putting that in a plot with Michael Myers was pretty damn cool, I think. Watching it today can be laughable at times, especially Busta's Wu-Fu, but it's a part of a series and I can't neglect it simply because of that fact. I'm stoked we're getting (and got) Halloween 1-8 on 4K so that I can purchase them for the 6th time (rolling my eyes)...
As far as movies that centre around technology go, Resurrection has at least managed to not feel completely obsolete. Some of the references and technology used are old, but we still watch live streaming events like what's happening in the movie.

I'm beyond thankful to Shout that we're getting H6, H20 and Resurrection on 4K UHD even though H6 is the one I wanted the most. But, I guess it'll be nice to have the other two to complete the collection.

But I'll admit I was also hoping one of their other October releases would have been a Collector's Edition of Trick 'r Treat on 4K UHD. Definitely one of my favorite Halloween themed and anthology movies and required viewing every Halloween season.

The Halloween set comes to around $26.83 a movie (plus tax) if you preorder from moviesunlimited.com and use the coupon code MU22AUG. Not that $85 shipped ($80.49 plus my state sales tax) is cheap, exactly, but at least it's a long way from $40 a pop.

Yes I bought Candyman from Best Buy, sent them pics of the scratched discs and got replacements in less than two weeks.

I've ordered from them before, but it's been a while. I don't remember having any issues though and put my order in with them for $87. I know they used to be the fulfillment partner for TCM when they sold discs. They might also be part of the group that owns DeepDiscount, BlowItOuttaHere and ImportCDs as the address verifier at checkout was the exact same one I get on DD.

I always use DeepDiscount and find them very reliable. The $30 coupon will come in handy. I’ll take the chance.

Appreciate the reply and info. Thank you.

Now that Halloween 6-8 is getting a full 4K upgrade I figured I would ask even if there is not many fans on here do you think the ones below will be released?

Rob Zombie Halloween 1+2 (4K)
A Nightmare on Elm Street Set
And POSSIBLY a full Hellraiser set?

To me, a full hellraiser set includes the directors/workprint version of Bloodline

Thanks. The parent slipcase is obviously a way for Shout to get around the licensing restriction and still provide individual slip cases for their customers.

Got a shipping confirmation for my Child's Play 4K bundle.

If they do a Hellraiser set it would probably just be films 3-8. I mean, if they can do a set for just Halloween 6-8 then why not? Most fans already have the Arrow releases for the first two.
I would hope Hellraiser 3 has proper framing this time if they were to do it.

I wonder if SF will produce a special slipcase big enough to fit all of the movies and sell it separately on their site?

On a related note, I can’t help to think that there will be a mega set in 2024, with all of them - 1-8, the 2 Zombie films, and the 3 new films.

When I first read this without any context my mind, for whatever reason, automatically went to the idea that you were talking about some sort of slip vault to house ALL of the Scream Factory releases... all 660+ of them.

I nabbed The Vincent Price Collection [Re-Issue] and The Vincent Price Collection III with my 20% off $80 code from the email. I haven't seen all the films on both volumes but look forward to watching them all anyways, especially on blu-ray rather than streaming. I could kick myself for not getting into blu-ray collecting sooner since a couple of my favorite Price films and the ones I was looking forward to the most that I haven't seen are in the OOP second collection. Nevermind the fact that the only way you can get House on Haunted Hill on blu-ray is from the second collection.

At the very least, these will look nice next to Elvira's Haunted Hills in my collection...
